Good value for money at fixed prices for 2 or 3 course. Moussaka was very tasty yet a bit runny. Wine was very sweet for a rose. All in all not bad

We visited as it was close to our concert venue. Didn't have a lot of time but the food arrived quickly and was of a high standard. I had lovely fish and chips while my wife had a salmon pasta. We were both very impressed.

Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a
thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National

reasons that Southbank is such a collectively

Description
This smart glass-fronted cafe, restaurant bar on Belvedere Road is neighbours with the Royal Festival Hall, Westminster Kitchen! and Chez Gerard in that cultural hot-spot, the Southbank. The 82-dishes (excluding set, special and children meals) offer a comprehensive taste of Turkey's national (healthy) diet. There's kisir, a cold starter of nuts, bulgar wheat, herbs and spring onions. Hearty mains include kuzu guvec, a lamb casserole, and a delicious mariage of runner beans and onions served with a rich tomato sauce and rice called yesil fasulye. There are fish, pasta, rice, and special veggie dishes too. Desserts make an intriguing change from treacle pudding and cheesecake. How about kaymakh kestane - sweet chestnuts sprinkled with chestnuts and served with home-made cream?
