Valentine’s Day 2020, my husband took me there as it is local and couple people highly recommended it it us.
I have to say we been to many steak places, and Steak on the Green is absolutely a 10 stars ( if there was that option I would definitely give them 10 stars).
The service was absolutely amazing the owners were serving and making sure everything was running smoothly.
The steak was perfectly cooked and fantastic quality.
And on top of that their cocktails were absolutely delicious, £8.95 per cocktail is quite a lot but the quality makes it worth it every penny.
Our evening was perfect.

Wow.
Was in the area on business with customers, chose purely on location and food offered but was blown away with the service, banter from the South African owner and food.
If you love your steak, don’t bother with anywhere else. The fillet was to die for.
Apart from a slight mix up with the blue cheese everything was perfect.
I will return.
Highly recommend.

Ordered two steaks for collection yesterday from Steak on the Green on a recommendation from friends. I work close by and as it was my turn to go into the office so thought why not, collection can be made between 2pm and 4pm if you order before midday but delivery is also available. As well as the steaks, which were sealed up nicely, I also ordered the merlot salt and two sauces. Well I will absolutely be ordering again, the steak were great and the merlot salt is amazing. Plus, I had ordered the béarnaise sauce and the person I collected the good from gave me the proper instructions on how to heat the sauce.
Thanks for a great dinner, can’t wait for my next order.

The service started off ok, the food was OK but not amazing, I was not that impressed therefore I asked for the OPTIONAL service charge to be removed as there was not much or a service the waiter said that’s fine no problem and was friendly until another blonde Middle Aged lady in a blue dress rudely demanded the reasons why we had asked to remove the service charge and told us not to make excuses about the food and if he wanted the service charge to be removed we should have just been honest even though we did make it clear and she just come over to take the payment! I found her very rude and I don’t appreciate being made to look small in front of other customers! I have never experienced such rudeness. At the point I just felt to walk out! I think it’s wrong and disgusting when people demand and expect service charge to always be paid. I would have been more than happy too if I was completely satisfied. Being a NHS keyworker I have not had a chance to go out lately, I left my birthday dinner feeling so embarrassed with my friends and it just ruined the whole evening, it definitely was not the way I wanted to end the night. I can see also this is not the first time someone has claimed about the blonde lady” who I believe to be some sort of “manager”. On that note I would completely avoid this place I would never go back! It’s clearly one of those places that don’t care about the customer service only quick to take your money. Got to the restaurant 5 minutes before my reservation time, it was half full (no social distancing whatsoever) and there were no waiters or hostess anywhere to be seen. I decided to stay with my friend next to an empty table until someone appeared to get us seated. The table was filthy, clearly other people had eaten there and no one bothered to even wipe it, let alone sanitize it as it should have been.
This blonde waitress appeared from the kitchen carrying three plates and started to talk very rudely to us because we weren’t supposed to sit without being directed (we weren’t even seated!). She didn’t have gloves or even a mask on and was talking over the food. She then proceeded to grumble rude stuff and we decided to leave saying it was her fault and the service was ridiculous. She actually made to follow us outside to argue (wtf was wrong with her??). Wish I knew her name to make a proper complaint but all I know is she was blonde and was working at lunch time on Wednesday.
Don’t bother coming here, they are clearly only bothered with getting your money. Zero attention is given to safety and the government guidelines. Like I mentioned no gloves or masks were worn and the tables were so close together one could easily bump on the person sitting on the next table.

A group of five hungry Irish friends visiting for the weekend were lucky to get a table at short notice, the group were very well looked after. The food was excellent. Starters of crab and ribs followed by prawns, steaks and burgers. Very reasonably priced.

I booked Steak on the green for boyfriend's birthday and they made our evening so special. The lady that looked after us (i'm sorry i forgot what her name was!) was brilliant, explained all of the cocktails and gave us a recommendation. She also took her time to explain different kinds of steaks and made sure we ordered what was right for us. The food was absolutely delicious, and so were their cocktails and wine. At the end they brought my boyfriend a piece of complimentary cheesecake and sang happy birthday to him and he said it was the best meal he had ever had. The whole evening was perfect and we'll probably never go anywhere else for his birthday dinner ever again. A definite 12/10!!

It was so good to be back at Steak on the Green after months of lockdown. As usual the food was excellent but more importantly for us at this time we were very impressed with the way the restaurant has been able to adapt with social distancing, hand sanitiser stations, continual wiping down of everything etc. As ever, Kim and all the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Looking forward to returning soon for some more exceptional food, drink and ambiance!

We dined on the Government offer on Wednesday and the place was heaving but they maintained social distancing and we felt safe throughout the evening.
The starters were sensational...we shared a Tuna Tartare and Mussels and both were extremely tasty and well presented.We shared a Txuleta rib of beef and was like cutting through butter.The desserts were also superb..a chocolate fondant that oozed chocolate and we were offered complimentary dessert wine by the excellent hostess.All in all a great experience and highly recommended.

Our first visit here and can say all the beef was excellent although quite expensive. We were a party of 4 and with mains and sides, 2 bottles of house wine and 4 desserts ended up with a bill of £270 including service charge. I would be happy to return but as the most expensive restaurant in Ealing I am very disappointed they do not take Amex. Very unusual for a top end restaurant. Please explain why? Service was very good, especially Bella. She was a superstar.

We do not accept american express for the following reason.
I decided to raise charity by donating one day's sales to a very needy cause.
We raised a lot of money and all my staff worked without pay that day to maximise
what we could donate to the charity.
I asked Amex to waive their fee that day so we could donate even more!
Visa and mastercard agreed but amex said to me "it's not within our budget"
Ever since that day ..I have not accepted their card in any of my restaurants.

First time we went to Steak on the Green we had an amazing experience. However now it seems to be failing to fulfil the demand with the new Eat Out to Help Out. The fries are supposed to come with truffle sauce and came bare, when asked the member of staff he seemed not to know what I was talking about. Also on our pre covid visit the experience was much better, we were greeted with delicious spicy edamame but now we felt rushed and just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Maybe will be back after the scheme is over to see if the standards go back to normal.

Was told about this venue by several people so decided to pay a visit, and was I glad I did !! From the starter to the mains the food was absolutely delicious. The large shrimp cocktail was so fresh and tasty with a generous portion. The mains I had were the Ribeye while my other half had the Fillet, by saying that she mistakenly cut through her steak with the back of the knife tells you how tender the meat was, both steaks melted in the mouth. The accompanying sides were just as delicious, the staff attentive and the food arrived promptly. The only fly in the ointment is the lack of disabled toilets, the only ones being available are at the bottom of a steep set of stairs, but this didn’t detract from the whole experience which was just simply fantastic. We will most certainly be returning in the not too distant future, and many times after that !!!

10/10 Experience. This really is an undercover gem. Literally, 2 minutes walk from Ealing Station. Superb ambience as soon as you walk in with low lit lighting and decor which makes you feel as if you were in a vineyard in Italy. The lady who helped us with the menu was the owner's wife. You could tell she was really knowledgeable and passionate about everything on the menu, from the cut of meat to the choice of wine. Everything was served so fresh and you can really taste the flavours on all the dishes. We came in with a group of 5 where we were accommodated as soon as we sat in down with bread and a interesting homemade butter. We was recommended with a very nice red as well as other drinks we had ordered. Our food came out at the right time with one of our starters being a seafood platter. The seafood was top notch served as if it had just come straight from the sea. The mains were superb with the steak being a highlight. I had got a USDA ribeye which was served medium. Perfect amount of colour, the right tenderness (Not too mushy or chewy) and flavour profile was great. We was also served with a choice of 3 different salts which I thought was amazing in the variety of salts we could choose. The sides all were served so fresh and could really taste each flavour that was stated on the menu. Although we arrived quite late and couldn't order any dessert our hostess for the night left us with a real treat in a dessert wine from Cornwall which really put the cherry on top. If your looking for a top steakhouse in West London this one here is definitely worth the visit and is definitely up there with some of the more premium restaurants in London!

Went here for our 5 year anniversary special meal this evening! Delicious food- best steak I’ve ever had and amazing service too. Free glass of bubbly each was a lovely anniversary touch! My boyfriend & I had the rib eye 350g steak each and sides of truffle Mac & cheese, chips & green beans. All faultless! We will be back. Lovely Sauvignon wine too and loved the little touches such as the bread and ‘garlic butter’ flavoured popcorn you get before you order anything. Thank you Steak on the Green for an amazing experience- can’t wait to come back! :)

We wanted to support local small business so we decided to try the restaurant especially that it was continuing the eat out help out scheme. We were a small group the restaurant is beautiful cosy , the service is brilliant you can tell it’s family run . The food was tasty and dessert was delicious. The reason I gave it 3 stars it’s because of the eat out help out issue , we believed that it’ll apply straight away but we were told on payment that the voucher is only valid on our next visit ( this isn’t written on the website) and secondly the “optional” service charged was already charged to the bill we weren’t asked if we were happy for it to be. We did want to support local business but I felt that this could’ve been handled better , we were first time customers so leading that impression wasn’t very nice.
