Looking at other reviews … my friends & I were sadly subjected to the rude unpleasant owner .. not the friendly attentive one . From the start the lead waiter/owner ? ignored us , when we did finally get his attention he was aggressive &...odd . The food was very good . There was also a waitress who spoke very little English was smiley & polite but the owner had to take the orders & the bill . When we said we were not going to pay the service he starting shouting & swearing & was horribly aggressive in my friends face & told us to not come back. What a foul man .. he shouldn’t be in this industry .. I would avoid this restaurant this was a most unpleasant experienceMore
The rudest owner I have ever encountered my entire life. He clearly showed his unwillingness to host our party of 4 by avoiding eye contact with anyone from our party (maybe due to the fact my wife and friend are Asian?). Instead, he kept checking...on the other two tables, seeing whether they needed coffee or dessert. After waiting for 15 minutes, I tried telling him we were ready to order, but he just waved me away saying he was busy (there was literally only two other table occupied in the whole restaurant). In the end we had to leave.More
Excellent, authentic Spanish tapas. Service prompt and very friendly. Gets quite , so worth booking.
I visit London four or five times a year and always make a point of eating here repeatedly over the past twelve years. The food is outstanding, and the owner is always very welcoming and attentive to his customers, many of whom are regulars: local,...not local, young, old, all ethnicities, all nationalities. Regardless of the day of the week I go, at least half of the customers are known to the owner. It’s the type of restaurant where people engage in conversation with their table mates and with those seated at tables nearby simply because of the atmosphere created by the owner.More
As black tourists we had a bad encounter with the staff who ran the place. I entered with my 11 year old daughter, before consuming we asked where it was the bathroom as my daughter had necessity to use . the gentleman accompanied us to...the exit door very rudely. This made us feel discriminated and it was something we would never have expected from a city like London. The gentleman was blatantly racist.More
Hugely disappointing and the worst restaurant experience I have had in London in over 20 years, even though the food was good. Owner unnecessarily rude, inattentive and left us waiting to place our order for nearly 45mins and made us move to a smaller table...even though three quarters of the restaurant was empty! Sadly won’t be bringing any friends to this local any moreMore
Slow service, Good food and wine. We would have stayed for more wine, coffee and desserts, but were put off by the waiter loudly watching videos in the restaurant which was extremely irritating; We left and spent £50 elsewhere on desserts and coffees
Wonderful neighbourhood restaurant with a lovely family feel. Good quality food with quick and authentic service- would really recommend, wonderful dinner will be back.
The taste of food are authentic. All I have eat was great. Friendly environment and great staff. Nice place, and good prices.
Friendly staff, Variety of Tapas food and some main dishes available, warm atmosphere. Although on busy nights you might have to wait the fresh authentic food is well worth the wait.
The food was fantastic! Would especially recommend the rabbit, goats cheese, chorizo and calamari. The staff were brilliant and very friendly. The wine I had was brilliant and the limoncello at the end was appreciated. We will definitely be back if we are in the...area.More
Built our plans around coming here and literally could not wake this guy up. Not a great way to advertise your business! And totally disrupted our plans for the day. Won't be trying again.
Chose to eat here due to recommendations and reviews. Wasn’t disappointed food excellent cooked to order and hot. Service first class despite being busy and even had time to joke about me asking for no chilli in dishes. Would definitely go back. Only downside for...less than mobile is the toilets being downstairsMore
Tapas were all extremely tasty and appetising - special stand out to the pulpo a la gallega. We finished our meal with churros & chocolate which were ridiculously good. Friendly and fairly speedy service, despite the fact the place is busy. The sangria recipe can...perhaps be enhanced but we still had two jars! Highly recommended for a relaxed evening out at honest prices.More
