Had a nice evening at Ruya. Food was really good, well prepared and presented. Nothing that was extraordinary or kind of unexpected but really very well done. Alcohol is really expensive, a glass of wine starts around 25£. Service was very attentive and fast. Decor is contemporary with an open kitchen so you can see the chefs at work.

I went there with my husband for a late lunch. From the reception, to the waiters, to the barman who bring you your drink, there is nothing to say. Everything was perfect. We had the 3 courses lunch with a cocktail for £35 and the portion was quiet generous. I took the cig kofte and then bring it in a way that I never see before, and I liked it. The presentation was outstanding. The service was perfect. I’ll come back for sure with family this time. Thank you for the experience !

The place itself is wonderful, the atmosphere is great, employees are lovely, attentive and nice. The cocktails are great as well, but the food is overpriced for the quality and quantity it offers. The Shish Tavuk (grilled chicken/kebab), offered for £22, comes just with 1 skewer worth of chicken and although it states to be marinated in yoghurt, tasted dry. Overall a great place for drinks and maybe some snacks, but tons of other Turkish (Anatolian) restaurants that offer better food in terms of quality, quantity and price.

If you want a restaurant that looks great, where you can be seen in a chic environment, this is the place for you. If you want amazing food and great service, give it a miss. Arrived to find ourselves seated by a rowdy crowd of noisy blokes and their inconsiderate behaviour dominated the restaurant. The restaurant kindly moved us as far away from them as they could. From them on, service was distant, we had to call a waitress over to order, no one asked if we wanted a drink. The food was fine, a little better than your local kebap restaurant but considerably more expensive. Even the comically expensive Nusr-et/saltbae doesn’t charge for tea but Ruya charged £4 for a lukewarm glass that my Turkish companion refused to drink. There are some wonderful modern Turkish restaurants offering fantastic reinterpretations of modern classics (such as at Yeni), Ruya’s approach is the ramp up the prices, reduce portion sizes and wind down the flavours. When we left no one said anything to us or seemed bothered whether or not we had a good time. However, the wines were very good.

My recent visit to this place was most disappointing. At the time of booking there was a lady who was very professional and very impressive so was the picture online however the reality was completely the opposite. The restaurant is very basic with open kitchen and only two members of staff serving a full restaurant. We spotted few manager wondering in suites but ignoring the struggle their staff having, Food potions are very small and the prices is ver high. Good drinks list and that’s all. 14% service charge didn’t make sense. I recommend you to check Neighbouring places and don’t really on online’s reviews..

Nice location and atmosphere, but music too loud. The food is average, not even very traditional Turkish dishes and definitely too expensive for the quality you get. Cocktails below average, not only the ones they make, but also the classical one. Service was extremely good and professional. For 6 starters, 4 mains, 3 desserts, 6 cocktails we spent 400£.

The taste of food is very far being extraordinary. It is not even less than average for a Turkish restaurant. Portions are very very small and for the size very expensive. (100£/person) ex:Pita bred is 10cm diameter with a price tag of 5 £/piece and it doesn’t come as a side dish with any meze. It all depends what you expect from your dinner. Seen in a restaurant or eaten a good meal. This restaurant accomplish only the first one. At the end of dinner they give lokoums in lowest quality. Definitely does not worth a penny and will not consider to go back.

Dined here recently with family. The food was excellent, really enjoyable. Everything put on the table was beautifully presented and tasted great. The restaurant itself is a bit of a WOW and the staff are incredibly courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely come back and would recommend highly. Great food.

Totally rushed experience finished off by being violently ill afterwards. Food came out super quick after ordering so clearly hadn’t been cooked fresh, I ordered chicken which appeared on the table in five minutes. Within three hours I was violently sick numerous times and am still unwell. Also really really rushed by the staff … basically telling us to leave after hour and a half.

Probably one of the best turkish fine-dining restaurant you can find. All the food we tried tasted really amazing. Very close to the traditional Turkish cuisine and some European twist on some of them worked really beautifully. If I had to complain about something, I couldn't not say anything about how small the pide was. It was so delicious yet so tiny that made my heart broken. Cocktails were amazing too. Definitely recommend.

The set lunch has a short but varied choice. We had different starters mains and dessert and each was delicious. The lamb cutlets with smoked aubergine were sublime. The price was great value for the quality, rounded off with a decent glass of house wine.

What a super experience. We went here for lunch and had a superior experience. Great wine choices. Food was very flavorful. And the staff was very friendly. The pistachio covered fish was awesome and the lamb meat ball starter was the highlight - and I don’t like lamb. I can’t wait to go back for dinner with friends.

“Rüya” means dream in Turkish it was absolutely dreamy night for us!!! Thank you for the staff looking after us. They were so helpful and kind. We loved the experience.I am a sommelier student in London and I have chosen Rüya for food and wine pairing for the Turkish cuisine. They have got large number of wine selection from Turkey and all around the world. Their food menu is very authentic and they do special menus for special days as well!!! I have picked the Kayra Buzbağ Reserv from 2019 which is the blend of the most famous Turkish grape varieties Öküzgözü & Boğazkere and paired with my fav childhood dishes iclikofte & Adana kebab. Always go with local wine when you eat local food. I definitely recommend Turkish wines or Raki which is well known Turkish alcoholic drink as well. Oh yeah also make sure to end your meal with kunefe dessert and pistachio ice cream!!! Will be definitely back…

We had a superb Saturday dinner here. It’s a glamorous and opulent space without being OTT. The bathrooms are fabulous. Kudos for the design flair! Service was impeccable. The food was beautifully presented, inventive and delicious. My highlights was the dressed oysters, but all the dishes were great. I will happily eat my way through the whole menu on return visits,

Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
