The food is exceptional and one of the best roasts around. The service is very good also nice and friendly. It' a lovely cosy pub which makes you feel like you are not in London.

This little place is one of our favourite local pubs. The food (for us the burger and steaks) is usually fantastic and the decor is lovely. My biggest gripe is that if you sit by the windows it's very drafty, and the ladies loos are...More

It is a really cute pub, but the beer tasted like the lines had not been cleaned in weeks. The lagers were all warm.

Here with family and friends for a really nice Sunday roast lunch. Roast served as a joint/whole chicken to carve at the table, which makes it more like home. 3 people having chicken would have liked a larger bird. Seemed to be just one person...More

It's tiny inside, about the size of someones living room - with a bar in it! It has a small walled 'garden' area at the back. We'd booked for Saturday evening, but they weren't full. Shared a wild boar ravioli for starters which was tasty,...More

I have now eaten here 3 times, its local and I like it. I thought that a review would help others. The burgers I have had each time always come out on the really small side (especially the lamb). I don't at all mind paying...More

This little old pub is placed between Mortlake and Barnes railway stations, a short walk from either. It's a quaint place, with a small bar and enough room for perhaps 20 or so diners and a few bar-props. As other reviewers have suggested, the Landlord...More

Thanks for your review Jim! Next time you come for a Sunday roast, make yourself known to either me or my manager Paul and we'll buy you a bottle of wine to say thanks!

Been there a few times and just love the style. Very cosy and a small but interesting menu. Their burgers are fantastic, as well as the game bird we ordered. Winelist was good, and the staff gave great service.More

I have had some great evenings her, but the landlords could improve things at relatively little cost. Food is good. However, better kitchen ventilation is needed. Range of beers is limited. Basically the potential for this gem is great, but it falls short.More

We have recently installed a huge kitchen ventilation system - several times more powerful than needed for our tiny kitchen. I hope it meets with your approval! I'm surprised to hear you say that we don't have much of a beer range though. We have...More
