Emperors new clothes-syndrome is on full display with the sycophants and their bemused partners lining up to be fleeced roughly at the merciless and demanding hands of the waitresses and mystery cook. Average size steak served in two time- delayed portions gives rise to gasps of delight from the converted. Salad is small and partially mashed, chips are similar to... More

Having been to the city branch we knew we were in for good food. I hadn't been but my boyfriend had. The food was as expected amazing. But what really made our meal was after one very surly waitress was extremely rude the management team handled it beautifully. When the management team deal with a situation so professionally it guarantees... More

Just like the last time we visited. You know what you're getting and the food did not disappoint. Friendly staff. Nice wine. Grateful the restaurant catered to my vegetarian daughter's needs.

Classic restaurant with exactly same setting and food as its Parisian sibling. Food is very good however the same french "policies" apply here as well: no reservations are accepted, opening hours, especially for lunch, are quite limited and you cannot be seated unless all party members are present. We tried to order for a party member on his way but... More

Love this place. Have been here over 20 times and never let me down. To anyone wanting a classic meal of Steak and Fries (you get a double portion) then this is an institution. The steak I order is always Rare and the fries are great and the sauce, a closely guarded secret, is divine. It can get a little... More

One menu - salad, baguette followed by steak frites with their secret sauce. We loved it. They don't take reservations so go early and keep in mind this might not be everybody's cup of tea. Service was friendly and efficient.

Don't go here if you expect to have a food menu and make a choice. There is one salad and one main course. But the main is perfectly cooked steak and that's why people go and why there is always a queue (you can't book) after 630pm. It is always reliable - salad with dressing is a good appetizer and... After hearing about Le Relais De Venise in other worls location (myself in person from friends in Switzerland) I decided to give it a try while visiting the wonderful neighbourhood of Marlebone, London. After waiting in que for quite a while (main reason for the missing star in this review) we were served to a table in a happy interior... More

I admit I'm a creature of habit. Well - with a selection of my favourite restaurants, that is. And this is a prime example. It's steak and chips and salad and house red and it's choice of well done, medium or rare steak and you get seconds....lots of seconds! Great! And you can't book and have to queue. Great! And... Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
