We booked for dinner after a day sightseeing around London. It was our first experience of Korean food. Suan made us feel very welcome, recommending dishes that were excellent.
The restaurant is quite small but busy, with every table taken, so recommend booking ahead.

Since we didn't have any previous experience with Korean food we just ordered 6 of the smaller dishes to share. The server was very helpful, and the food was quickly delivered and absolutely delicious! Excellent price/quality. As we had a table near the door it was pretty spacious however it's quite a small space so pretty cosy towards the back. We'll definitely try more Korean food back home! 10/10.

Amazing place, great food, great service and affordable prices. I was in London with my daughter, we went for lunch, had heard from friends it was great and were not dissapointed! Great food, very nice choices & variety, we choose the lunch bento box but also took a signature dish on the side (beef tataki, amazing). We came early but within no time the place was full. Sijo was on his own and did an amazing job, it's a very small restaurant and it was very full, his service was great, he was able to serve everyone fast & very friendly, give advice etc. Would definitely go here again and suggest to others.

Some of the dishes were great but what disappointed us was the service.
The three of us have already ordered 4 dishes and the server (a Korean-speaking lady in a pink blouse) said it won't be enough for us. We asked could we order more food later and the server has declined our request as the restaurant was fully booked. At last, we were "encouraged" to order 5 dishes in total.
The food arrived quite quickly. The first dish served was the kimchi and we already realized 5 dishes would definitely be too much for us after seeing the portion of the pancake.
The short ribs with potato and pumpkin and salmon with green chili were fine.
But the rice in kimbap and bimbimbap might be overcooked. The texture of the rice was way too soft for me, it was kind of like the texture of a congee. The kimchi pancake was doughy as well.
The stone bowl used for bibimbap was not hot and thus the beef tartare was still raw despite we have mixed all ingredients thoroughly. The bowl could not keep the bimbimbap warm.
We made a reservation on the Fork and arrived on time at 6:30pm. At around 7:30pm, we were being told to speed up in finishing our food and leave in 10 minutes.
We do understand the restaurant might be small and busy, but there is no time limit policy listed on the Fork. And we were not being told of the time limit when we were first sit at the table. We just spent a hour in the restaurant and finished half of the dishes (because we have been pursued to order too many dishes), and being asked to leave without any advance communication about the time limit.
Then, we had to rush all of the dishes. We requested for takeaway box and the male server looked contemptuously at us when he took the box to us.
In addition, there were 3 tables being vacant for more than 30 minutes throughout our meal, despite the server claiming the restaurant was fully booked and we were being chased to leave.
Although I was quite interested in some other dishes that haven't been ordered at first, it ended as a very disappointing and upset experience. Unfortunately, this would be my first and last time at this restaurant.
If you are looking for a nice and relaxed dinner without being kicked out in the middle of your meal, I beg you to avoid this place and look for better alternatives.

Very small portions for the price, without the quality to back it up. Example: 3 small pieces of fried chicken for £10
- Rice came undercooked, 20 minutes after we had already finished the meal. Giving them 2* because they did remove this from my bill after I asked
- They took food from our table before it was even finished, multiple times
- Bad service, waited 15 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. Had to remind them to take our order after 20 mins of waiting.
Save your time and money, go to one of the many other better Korean restaurants nearby.

The restaurant looked nice, it was about 2/3 full on a week day at lunchtime. Our waiter was very pleasant. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive and my friend got her order 15 minutes before I did. The table next to us was the same, they got one dish out of three and then had to wait 20 minutes for the rest. It felt like whoever was in the kitchen was picking and choosing what they were cooking, no doing it a table at a time. My friend and I both had KPop chicken and rice, the chicken was lovely, the rice was awful, wet and overcooked, in Korean restaurant where rice is a daily staple!

The food lacked the flavours that I was expecting and hoping for. In particular the prawn dumpling came as a hard pastry shell, even the Cornish pasties available at London airports and railway stations are much better.
The grilled eel was plentiful in quantity but dry and overcooked
My colleagues spicy lamb chop, again a poor choice
Fortunately the Korean Sake did help in making the evening not a total disaster

Leaving this review purely as a nice recommendation as I believe this restaurant has much potential but needs room for improvement.
Had a table booked and was sat very late, the lady at the door was very nice and was handling this inconvenience very professionally.
As we sat around 20 minutes after the time we booked another table was sat next to us around 10 minutes later and got served first instead of us… When we finally ordered a different member of staff brought all the food to the table first and forgot to bring our drinks and enough cutlery for us, so in result of that when we managed to start eating some food was already cold.
Some bits were very nice, some were average, but the cherry on top of the cake was as soon as we finished eating we were still having our drinks, since they arrived so late to the table, and got presented with the bill without even asking for it and got told we had to leave as they had another booking…
Such a shame as they have a nice menu and good location and nice decoration I have been to quite a lot of korean restaurants and sadly this is right at the bottom of my list.

We chose this restaurant for my partners 30th. They can only take a maximum of 6 people when booking but when I called to see if it was possible to accomdate our party of 7 they couldn't have been more helpful.
While actually there, every member of staff was warm, polite and really really nice! Our waitress was fantastic (even while watching me and my friend fail with chopsticks!) And they were always on hand to help.
The food itself, incredible! We got sharing platters with rice cakes/kimchi pancakes and more to accompany it and every single item was extremely tasty!
Would definitely come again, and have already recommended it to my family who enjoy a trip to London!

Staff was friendly and easy going and we had no issue in getting our table . The restaurant was quietish.. for Sunday, but we did find service to be little slow in terms of getting order to the table and taking order in the first place . This place is small , so you will find yourself sandwiched between other tables and listening to others conversation, just bear that in mind .
Food I found to be much better than expected and really enjoyed the kfc chicken and udon noodles , everything was cooked well and tasted nice and spicy .
Overall we had an enjoyable time .

actually our first Korean restaurant I think and a very enjoyable experience. Very vivid and different food flavours.
However, our dinner ended on rather a sour note with two very weak coffees not quite bad enough to return. Then on the bill there was an additional 50p charge for the milk to accompany the Americano! The coffee is already £3. That is an excellent way of irritating your customers!

I would like to note that I have emailed the restaurant directly over a week ago and recieved no reply/communications from them to our concerns.
I attended with friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were really looking forward to the dinner, but our experience was extremely disappointing and we ended up settling up and leaving before our meal was over.
Firstly, I booked for 6 people (unfortunately 1 person was unable to make it last minute which I did ring to inform the restaurant of on the day of the booking) and when we arrived the table was hardly big enough for 5. One of our party had to sit on shelving behind the table, and there certainly would not have been enough room for 6 at the table. I would rather have been informed by the restaurant that they could not deal with large bookings so we could find somewhere else, especially given current social distancing guidance.
Secondly, one of our party has gluten. allergies/intolerance due a medical condition. When we enquired with the waitress about this she stated that she could eat everything on the menu except dishes containing glass noodles. When we enquired if the soy sauce used at the restaurant was gluten free (as it is used throughout the menu) she went to check with the chef. We were then informed only 2 dishes were gluten free. Without us clarifying this could have caused extreme discomfort and illness for the member in our party. Furthermore, despite being told that the k-pop chicken with sweet soy sauce was gluten free, the member had a gluten reaction the next day, which obviously is unacceptable when we clarified multiple time over, including when the dish reached the table.
In addition, we received 2 undercooked dishes. The first was veggie dumplings which were cold. We raised this and thankfully staff actioned this. However, we then found raw chicken in the dak-galbi. At this point we felt unable to continue with our meal, cancelled the rest of our order and settled up for the dishes we received that were not undercooked.
Would not go here again and would not recommend to a friend. Did not cater well to dietary requirements.

First time trying Korean food and boy was it good! We were greeted by friendly staff, the restaurant is small so I would highly recommend booking ahead. The waiter gave us some good recommendations and we were not disappointed. Stand out dishes include the black cod and seafood pancakes. We ordered 8 dishes with soft drinks all for £80 for a hungry couple. Definitely on the list to go back, you will love it.

Came for dinner with my friend on Thursday 1st August. We met my daughter and partner who live in London and had recommended it. We definitely were not disappointed. The place is very small but cosy, service excellent and food came quickly. We had several plates all food was delicious especially the Korean fried chicken and kimchi fried rice. Love, love, love Co&Ko and when I’m London again we will definitely be back. Very delicious, very reasonably priced food tor Soho ❤️
