Have never been disappointed with the quality of the fish or chips, good sized fish, plenty of chips and a pickled onion, have not found a better chippe in London.

Was looking for a good "local" spot for fish and chips and was recommended to this place. It did not disappoint! Portions were great and the cod was cooked perfect and the batter was light and crispy!

Decent portions of a variety of fish, cod, haddock and sustainable varieties. Love the tartare sauce (order one portion to share). Friendly service for a sit-down meal. (Not a late-night place for after-pub munching though.)

Nice little restaurant with fish and chips as it should be. Large portions, the small fish provides you with plenty of food. Make sure you order extra tartar sauce!

Boyfriend and I came here and noticed a line for the seated area. We decided to wait it out and I'm glad we did! In line you get to see them actually making the fish and check out some of their other selections (fried sausages! meat pies!). We ordered the large cod (they were out of haddock that day) and... This place was recommended to me as a girl who loves good fish and chips and I wasn't disappointed. A quirky little restaurant tucked out of the way. The batter on the fishbites was beautiful, the fishcakes so full of flavour. The tartar sauce, mushy peas and curry sauce were delicious and the chips cooked to perfection. Will definitely visit... Kind of out of the way little place. Incredibly fresh, golden crispy fish. The chips was meh, I prefer thin, crispy frites, not thick, chunky steak fries. The large cod was enough for at least two people! Also tried the haddock, didn't like it as much. For some reason, there's more moisture and just didn't taste as good as the... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
