Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I loved this small coffee house with it's buzz. It's small and has benches at the back. The portuguese tart was delicious - piled high with custard. The coffee was fab! No complaints. Pay this place a visit!

Lovel coffee house where the service was great, really nice cup of coffee and my partner had a delicious cup of hot chocolate. I then spotted the ANZAC biscuits and just had to have some, these were just as i had remembered from Australia a...lovely crunchy on the outside but chewy centre - they just tasted outstandingMore

Cool (although small and crowded) place that I discovered when googling for specialty coffee near Oxford Circus. They seem to have fancy desserts which I didn’t try. I ordered one espresso ristretto which clearly they had no idea how to prepare. It was served almost...cold and put in a simple words was just brown water. Not worth the £ 3.2. Should have gone to the Lavazza flagship store nearby to have an actual Italian ristretto. Cookie points they served it with a small glass of fresh green tea or something similar. Other things might be good can’t comment. Service was fine. Overall poor overpriced experience.More

My friend and I are in London for the weekend. Called in for a coffee to take back to our hotel. Ordered two llattes and a piece of cake. The young girl cut the cake for us, which was great, however we waited ages for...the coffee. Three girls came in after us and were served whilst we continued to wait. Eventually a girl came and asked if we were being served. I told her we were waiting for 2 lattes. When I questioned why we had not been served she said the order was lost. It moved six inches from the till to the coffee machine!!!! Eventually it came but it was not hot. Cake was lovely, shame about the coffee, I won’t be returning.More

Visited the cafe yesterday with my wife as read some great reviews of the place. I had an americano which was excellent but rather small in size. My wife had hot chocolate which was warm but not hot, and extremely small so she finished it...really quickly. Prices were more expensive than other coffee shops and I balked at the overpriced pastries. Glad I went but can't say I'll be hunting them out again.More

Australian coffee is good, but also commoditized and easily learned by others. Place has this arrogance about coffee and one of the staff insinuated that I needed to show more engagement. As far as I can remember, buying a coffee is transactional, anything more on...top is just a blessing. Staff have no right to dictate how a customer should engage in small talk. Sometimes people want their coffee and to be left alone. Respect that.More
