Whenever I visit London I try to visit a Massala Zone. This was my first visit to the Bayswater restaurant. The welcome was good and so was the food. The quality is always excellent and the variety of side dishes with the Thalis is always...More

Laughably small portions made up of insultingly small amounts of meat. God only knows what the mark up is but they must be stunned no one has caught on. Strictly for people who secretly hate themselves and their bank balance.

Super excellent service. It was my husband's 50th birthday who turned out to be sick that day and we really appreciated that the staff (we think it was the owner) brought 3 types of drinks which made him feel much better and did not charge...More

Service was ok initially after we were seated, but once our food arrived, this nosedived and was very poor. Food was poor. We ordered the chicken and lamb thali. The vegetable dishes in the thali were adequate, the chicken and lamb dishes were tasteless. I'm...More

this is certainly a very nicely presented restaurant and the food is very good. Some visitors may find the menu choice a bit limited, but it's the authenticity you pay for. Must come back for another selection choice. The staff are quite friendly.

We really enjoyed dinner at Masala Zone this evening. The flavours were much stronger and more imaginative than the standard English-Indian dinners. A real treat for the tastbbuds. We particularly enjoyed the vegetarian starters which are described as an explosion of flavour which pops in...More

This restaurant has it all, great staff, excellent ambience and food to die for. Our group tried a mix of Streetfood starters, then Thali and other curries, everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back

At Masala Zone Bayswater, we have a passion for making sure customers have an enjoyable time – delicious genuine Indian food, newly renovated exciting interiors and great staff. The restaurant is highly acclaimed. Evening Standard has rated us as one of London’s six best Indian restaurants, Zagat Restaurants Survey as London’s Most Popular Restaurant Group; Daily Telegraph as one of London’s best restaurants. We unusually combine a panoramic range of proper Indian food - pioneering street food, thalis (the balanced family platters), daily changing freshly made vegetables, flavourful grills, regional curries, biryanis. Our food is uniquely from the true sources of Indian food – the gourmet homes & street stalls across India’s regions.
