We , family of three enjoyed a lovely dinner here at Wimbledon branch n Wednesday. The food was served with a smile , the staff helping with the selection of menu. The mezze display was decorative, delicious and flavoursome. The mixed grill along with Turkish boat pizza was amazing and filling.

We have been visiting Hatay about once every 6 weeks for most of the year. We love Turkish food so was keen to find somewhere local and Hatay is one of the best Turkish restaurants we've been to in the Country. The staff are all absolutely lovely, they remember regular faces and even orders, and they give such a warm greeting and great service. The food is delicious. Massive portions, perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. It is often very busy as it is understandably popular but even then the food and service is prompt. Highly recommended.

A first rate restaurant with a wide-ranging menu catering for both veggies and carnivores. Very good value Turkish wines to go with some rather different dishes from the Wimbledon norm. Very well cooked meals and excellent and friendly service. Generous portions. A great find in SW20. We are taking a family party of 12 on Boxing Day.

I would strongly advise you to stay away. We booked a table @ 7.45 .arrived @ 7.30 & were told that we could not have the table for at least 10 minutes, although 80% of the tables in the restaurant were unoccupied. This was delivered in a rude & unpleasant manner & we were asked to stand aside while the next victims were dealt with. The real reason for this treatment was,I strongly suspect ,that the kitchen is understaffed & out of control- .customers were arriving & complaining that their take away order had not been correctly provided & the whole atmosphere was that of a railway station in which the trains were all running late. We left & went to another restaurant. When it first opened Hatay was a good addition to New Malden dining-this is one regular customer they have lost forever.

Each and every time we visit Hatay , we thoroughly enjoy yourselves. The food , the ambience, the atmosphere and staff always brilliant. Waitress Inga has always taken care of us and today her colleague Maria also provided excellent customer service. This restaurant is always busy but the staff always make you feel special and must not forget compliments to the chefs for never failing to provide delicious food.

I dined here for the first time with friends yesterday evening off the back of a recommendation and was super impressed. My friends and I shared hot and cold starter platters - the restaurant staff were really accommodating with an allergy within our party and offered suggestions of dishes we could swap in the platters and when everything came, it was delicious! Our mains also did not disappoint, my Adana Kofta was superb. We also enjoyed cocktails and shared baklava for dessert. Incredibly tasty food and lovely friendly service. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Having been told by many friends that we should go to Hatay we eventually managed it, despite lockdowns, for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. The starters were all excellent but the star of the show was the main course. My slow cooked Beef Rib was oozing unctuous flavour as was my wife's Lamb Shank. Two excellent Mojitos were followed by a bottle of a really good Turkish Red, which at £17.80 was also great value for money. The service was attentive and efficient. We will certainly return.

We love Turkish food, so excited to try out a new place for us. Interior nice space, service from staff, great, no complaints there! Food however was pricy for what comes out on the plate and sadly quite bland, really needed the chilli to give it some kick of flavour. Also, usually at a Turkish restaurant you are given breads and dips before your meal, not here and also no cost effective group platters on offer, £4.70 for two scoops of ice-cream, that wasn't happening!!! Disappointing dinner, there is another Turkish restaurant a couple doors down, will give that one a try next time!

First time experience. Visited for my wife’s 40th birthday. Everything including the food, service and spacious and clean restaurant was exquisite. I have visited many Turkish restaurants in the UK but this one was head and shoulders above the rest. If you are looking for a 6* quality meal at a reasonable price I would highly recommend Hatay. You definitely won’t be disappointed. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

My flatmate and I had the most incredible meal at Hatay last night. The food was delicious, great quality, service was perfect and after having the baklava we both went home and had baklava themed dreams! 10/10 will definitely be back!

I treated my wife to an anniversary dinner and this was also my first visit to a Turkish Restaurant. We ordered the hot starter plate for two which comes with bread and was very tasty. I then had the Dana Kaburga, recommended by the staff, and my wife had the Kuzu Incik. The standard of cooking is excellent and the food is freshly prepared. We enjoyed every bite and cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff are very polite and the prices reasonable. The place was quite empty when we walked in, about 5pm on a Wednesday and after a couple of hours it really started to fill up, the trademark of having a good local reputation. We are planning to visit again and will hopefully make this one of our monthly treats.

We visited this restaurant when on family business in June as we were staying locally. We had a lovely meal then. We returned this evening because we enjoyed our last visit. The restaurant serves really tasty Turkish food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Decor is pleasant and the room was buzzy and almost full on a Tuesday evening. What stood out for us was the wonderful professional service. As I said the restaurant was almost full with five staff in the kitchen working away and only two front of house staff. The young lady flew around the restaurant providing calm and attentive service to all her tables...often one can feel the pressure staff are under when busy..she managed to avoid this completely. A huge asset to the restaurant. We will definitely visit again if we find ourselves back in the area. Thank you.

It is always a good sign when entering a restaurant to be welcomed warmly and the staff have a smile on their face, so that was a great start to an evening with family. Restaurant is following Covid19 procedures, tables are well spaced out and it is well decorated. Food is tasty, well presented and a very ample portion, starters, mains and desserts, so go hungry. Having an open kitchen is always a good sign and the service from the staff was excellent throughout the evening.

Have to say, we've dined here for years, but the food and especially service recently has gone down hill. The worst part is the attitude of the staff. They were shocking tonight. I spoke to the owner to try to relay this..He knows me and my family so well, yet still he told me, he couldn't care less about our views and that his staff would never be rude. Blinkered. Crack on mate. But you won't be getting our hard earned cash again as you can't even be bothered taking customer feedback. Sad.

After work I went for dinner . They asked me to use sanitiser on hands before entering , and warmly welcomed me with a smile.Skewered spicy lamb kofte served on homemade spicy Lavas bread garnished with Zerzevat (traditional onion salad) , served with Bulgur rice. The food was of high quality and was very tasty and delicious . Very professional staff and great Chefs, I recommend it to everyone who would love to try delicious food ..
