Great place. Doesn't pretend to be Fitzrovia all very cool. TCR is very unpretentious , lovely staff really good food. Somewhere just to have a great time. Always really friendly and welcoming and very good value. Forget the hype drop into TCR.

Came for lunch as we were in the area and they had a weekend deal of two burgers or pizza's for £12.95. Burgers were really good and the onion rings as a side were nice. Nothing too speical but it was nice inside and the service was good and quick!

It has a pub feeling to it. I had a pizza there, it was nice. Prices are normal for this part of the city. Service was fast. They have a nice terrace at the back that was sunny at lunch.

This place needs a total makeover The only good thing is the menu. Which even that is poorly executed. Staff shouting across the bar to each other while there was only two people in the place. Not good I have the chicken pie which was more like a chicken mushroom soup the mash was the worst mash I have ever... More

Been here many times now and have to give these guys a huge shout out.. amazing friendly service, great food, lovely drinks and a lovely place to be in. Great secret garden in the middle of touristy London, catered for a large group within minutes! Great stuff!!

LGBT+ Unfriendly I say this as the two times I wen to the bar (I am MtF transgender) the (I think)French/Belgium barman with the ponytail specifically overlooked me & hopped over to the next person the other side-this lady was definitely after me as she was my colleague & I'd waved her over as I wasn't getting served by bar... This place may be great for a drink after work but for a family meal. No!!!!! We were a group of 6 looking for a quick meal after a day of sightseeing around London. Three generations from 70's down to teenage boys. Of the 6 meals ordered over 50% was left on the plate. Everything was deep fried and gluggy.... More

We decided to pop in on our way to the station and we were greeted with a friendly smile by a staff member who showed us the table. Although the place was busy the service was excellent. The staff members were very good and attentive. We had fish and chips and a cheese burger and chips which all came in... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
