Friendly staff and fun atmosphere!! The Lamb dish was great but nachos were awful. Still a fun time to meet up with friends and watch golf. This pub is directly across from the Bailey's hotel where we stayed.

Good pub - very normal and busy. Good food range and a good drinks selection too. Just great to be in such an environment in this area. Would return

Good and varied pub menu. It is one of a chain, as I recognized the menu in another pub in London. I had the starter cod coujons, which was perfect with a beer if you just want a snack or light lunch. You have to...More

Had a great time here watching Wimbledon final with quite a good crowd. Good feed and had a couple of shared dishes. A few pints later and was really ready to settle in. Fun time and staff were really friendly and engaging. Of all things...More

Popped in here whilst waiting for our dinner reservation elsewhere. The bar staff were all friendly and polite. The bar manager was extremely friendly, going out of his way to greet everyone which was nice. Lots of drinks available on draught and in bottles too....More

Good pub food and drinks. The two times we were there it was very busy and noisy. Stay away if you do not like to be bumped or to eat in very close proximity to others.

I have stayed in this part of London for a number of years and my first visit after dropping bags is always to the Stanhope for a couple pints and fish & chips. Now it does get a bit crowded in evenings so go early...More

After passing this place to and from my hotel since 1986 I finally decided it was time for a stop in. The drinks were made to specifications with no hassle or attitude and the food was great. Now I have a local on my future...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
