Very good sea bass and spinach side. Very pleasant garden at back. Service a bit slow but no big deal. Prices very reasonable. Surprisingly quiet on the Friday night we visited. Will certainly be back.

Dear Neil, Thank you for your kind comments I am glad you enjoyed our courtyard - it is a little secret of Kennington. Looking forward to seeing you next time you are in Kennington. Kind Regards, Houman

This is a real find. A family run Italian restaurant with welcoming staff, a diverse menu with a range of specials. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and the quantity just right. The real bonus is the courtyard with about 10 tables surrounded by painted...More

We're locals and having visited Kennington Summer Fete we wanted to have a quick bite to eat that didn't involve a roast (it was Sunday) and where we could take advantage of some outside seating. Amici seemed perfect solution. Service was so slow and it...More

Dear Charlotte, What can I say I am so sorry about your experience on Sunday. It was Jose's first day training with us and he shouldn't have really approached you to take your order for obvious reasons. I hope you will be willing to give...More

I enjoyed a meal Amici but it was all very quite with only 6 people eating that evening which was unusual for a Thursday. The staff were very friendly but the food lacked that true Italian flare one would expect from a family run established....More

I've eaten here numerous times and always really enjoyed everything. The crab linguine is particularly good but I've never had a bad meal.

The Venue The decor is modern and the seating consists of curved booths at one end of the restaurant, with a large red wooden communal table as the room's centerpiece and smaller tables dotted around it. There is an outside area at the back that's perfect in warm weather. The Atmosphere Loyal regulars come back again and again for never-changing favorites, but seasonal additions keep it interesting. Service is reliable and there is no problem adding something to a dish if you wish. The clientele is a mixture of couples young and old, families and groups of friends. The Food The menu also hits all the right notes, with its line-up of well-turned-out comfort food: textbook carpaccio, calamari, perfectly cooked Steaks, veal milanese the size of Sicily, &, especially, knockout pasta (try the crab linguini). Alternatively, perch on a stool at the bar while knocking back Prosecco & snacking on Bruschetta. The Drink Amici is fully licensed and you can indulge in classic or Champagne cocktails for about £6. One particularly welcome addition is a larger choice of wines by the glass, bottles of wine start at around £15.95 And beer is available either in draft or bottles.
