Fabulous food. Great service. Wonderful venue. Its worth the trip to Belsize Park just to come here. Highly recommend.
Noisy, crowded, staff disinterested. Food very average and surprisingly for a middle-eastern restaurant, the lamb shish was served rare, rather than medium or medium rare so had to be returned.
Met up with friends at this restaurant. The food was lovely but the evening was marred by the service. Everything ran very slow and we couldn't help feeling that the kitchen staff were focussed on keeping the delivery market satisfied with bikes continually rolling up...for their collections. One of our main courses failed to materialise and eventually, after several minutes of waiting (and asking) the manager had to go downstairs to the kitchen to get it. Sadly we also got the distinct impression that our waitress would rather be anywhere else other than there to look after us and the other guests.More
The restaurant that is low-ceilinged was packed and noisy. Unbelievably the owners had allowed a couple with 3 dogs as well who smelled and were close to us. The servers were surly and scowling at diners and clearly couldn't cope. Whilst the starters were reasonable,...the mains were dreadful, over-seasoned and my lamb kebab was rare. When I spoke to a waiter, he started arguing with me when it was clear that the cubes of meat were differing in size and it was no wonder this dreadful error had occurred. To be fair, he eventually reappeared with a few more medium-rare pieces. However, 3 out of 4 of us were rather unwell the next day and had to lay low. I cannot imagine why it is so popular although I have been told that during the week it is much less full. I would never recommend or return.More
Service was excellent but why does the food have to be lukewarm, my rice and meat was almost cold. A tasty dish let down and rice cold is dangerous to eat. I would have given them five stars if they could serve the food hot.
Ground floor restaurant with tasty food. I liked the hummous, the long grain rice, the chickpeas, the chicken kebabs, and above all the desserts. Next time I shall try the potato starter and aubergine and Turkish coffee. Warning - the toilet in the basement down...a steep flight of stairs.More
Servers were good , salads were good , but lamb shawarma was tough and tasteless….. and avoid the Lebanese wine ….. didn’t drink it
Appalling. After a long wait we were served a meat dish when we had ordered all vegetarian food, when we mentioned this the owner just shrugged and banged down the correct dish without apology, another dish never arrived at all but was on the bill...and the drinks only arrived after several reminders. The fatuoush was so lemony that it was almost inedible, even to my lemon crazy partner. Utterly depressing.More
The staff is really nice and attentive, and the food very tasty. They also offer home catering which is amazing! Very good price for the quality and quantity, I highly recommend!
Amazing, fresh Lebanese food! You can taste the freshness in every dish! Every mezze & salad was truly delicious. This will be my regular for sure! They also have a really good value lunch menu.
I order on deliveroo, at least once a week when in London - that is because I am single. Certain dips and the chicken are A1. And I am always happy, until I decided to have the lamb kebab a few days ago. It looked...awful and tasted vile; tougher than the oldest boots, and out of 5 miniscule pieces, I swallowed half, and spat out the other half. When things are this bad I do something about it. I emailed the gaff, '(not received'), and went round 12noon next day. No one there to deal with me the girl said, leave phone number. No, I said, I want this sorted now as I would just like some chicken OR baklava as recompense. Then the main man appeared- he was there all the time. Ah, I said, someone is here. Then blow me down, he asked me 3 (three) times if the offending meat was from, there as not in their box. i mean 3 times. I eventually said, do I look like a liar to you? I only want some baklava to compensate. he said he served 1000 of portions and never a complaint. on and on. he has not kept me as a valued customer. Stupid. he should have been far more gracious and appreciative i turned up for this unnecessary cross examination when the restaurant was EMPTY.More
Worst food and service I had for a while by a large margin. Ordered dish was not available, was told half hour after ordering and alternative dish was 2 cubes of lamb in a thin soup, featuring disintegrating green beans (probably tinned), and lebanese coffee...cooked without sugar. Never again!More
I visit NW3 fortnightly and live in the north of England. I am addicted to Teta takeaways - in particular, Beiruty Hummus with Chicken Shawarma and the lamb bread - Arayess. All so authentic & delicious. We love this food so much, I order it...as a takeaway to bring home, on the train, to the north for my friends & family. We hope to visit the restaurant as a family soon. Thank you, Teta.More
I normally only write reviews when on holiday but I really feel I must highlight the exceptional customer service I have just received by our waitress Alex. She was extremely friendly, brought out water for my dog, without being asked and even looked after him...whilst I used the bathroom. The cleanliness was second to none and the food was also of a high standard and very well priced considering the area. Overall I was extremely impressed. ThanksMore
