Beautiful food and thoroughly attentive service. high end price but quality food, Amazingly warm welcome like they have known you for years and a very enjoyable Lunch. A perfect light meal for myself and my wife in London. Sea bass and gnocchi were excellent as was the homemade in front of you Tiramisu.

As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by a typical Mediterranean atmosphere. Interior design was unique, the walls were decorated with old fashioned stucco like fishmonger shops from the 60's. Our wine selection was a white Ca' Del Bosco with a delicate and smooth aroma, perfect recommendation from the staff restaurant. We ordered two dishes of pasta with seafood (lobster and clams) and they were both delicious. For dessert we picked tiramisu' that was prepared instantly in front of us, grandma recipe was a daydream. That was cherry on top of a beautiful night. Special thanks to the supervisor Vanessa who thoroughly delighted us with a beautiful storytelling about food experience imagined by the owner

Had the most amazing evening. A big thank you to the staff especially Rafael (hope I spelt it right) who was a great waiter. The fresh seafood available on view tells you this is no ordinary place. The ambiance is great and very good precaution taken such as hand sanitizer at entry, staff were wearing face mask and tables social distances. The food here was amazing. I just could not fault any dishes and we tried a variety. I had the broccoli and shrimp to start with it and let me tell you this broccoli was made in a way that I could eat it everyday so much flavour and taste. The prawns were very good along with the oysters. For main we chose a fish from the seafood table and it was cooked in an authentic Italian way which meant all of us on the table could share (5). It was amazing so tasty it was delicious. We also ordered the tagliatelle lobster which was made from homemade pasta and was again so good. The fresh lobster was made to perfection. Now the desserts. The homemade tiramisu was made at the table and was good but in my opinion the homemade pistachio ice cream was one of the best I have ever had. Overall, what a fabulous evening with excellent service and food. Highly recommend

So, the service here is beyond awful, no question, some of the worst I have experienced outside of fast food. The ambience is strange and somewhat dated and the toilets were disgusting. However, the food was actually pretty good. What makes it unforgivable is the prices. I could forgive poor service and a somewhat ratty restaurant with decent food at perhaps quarter the price but at this price point it is criminal. You should avoid this place like the plague, for the same price you can enjoy far better food in a properly nice restaurant with waiting staff that actually serve you properly. (I exclude the wine waiter who was actually very good)

The most overpriced menu I've seen in London in a long time. Which would be okay if the service wasn't leaden, the food uninspiring, and the 15% service charge presumptive. Top tip: tell them you are in a hurry and avoid an hour's wait for your starter.

We came here as a table of 8 to celebrate a family reunion, reviews looked good and the menu looked tasty too - famous last words! It has an urban interior with scratched off wallpaper, a lobster tank, a cool glass section in the wall showing some of the seafood they have, the chairs were plush and the tables were set quite simply. Waiters were sweet but not hugely attentive - to be fair to them there was a very large group in one side of the restaurant so they were preoccupied. The wine selection wasn’t bad, for an Italian restaurant I’d have expected a broader collection. Sadly the wine glasses were incredibly cheap and we weren’t offered red and white glasses just white. I went with the lobster tagliatelle, which was presented beautifully, with the shell of half a lobster as decoration. The plates the food comes on are huge and looked hand painted giving a rustic feel. Sadly the pasta was over cooked, and the tomato based sauce it came in was massively underwhelming and lacked seasoning. You did get a fair amount of lobster but it was essentially a high mound of pasta bulking it out. For £38 for that dish I was expecting a sauce that sings, high quality and perfectly cooked pasta, which sadly wasn’t delivered. The rest of the table agreed that the food was fine, but for the price it was mediocre and we probably wouldn’t go again. There are plenty of excellent Italian restaurants in London, I’d suggest Locanda Locatelli or Bocca di Lupo for a similar price point.

Last Friday I went to have dinner at this restaurant and I have to congratulate the chef. All the food was exquisite, the quality was remarkable, and the service was very efficient, specially the waiter Eloi, that recommended us the fish that we liked so much. I had such a a great time. Obviously ,I will come soon!

One of the best restaurants in London I have been to so far! High quality fish, always cooked and served fresh. Fine dining location for every occasion, business dinner or couple, but also for a good evening with some friends! If you go there, look for Alessandro, highly skilled and experienced waiter who will make your night perfect. At last, don’t forget to try the pistachio ice cream (gelato al pistacchio), the best ice cream I have ever eaten in my life. Worth to go!! And to go back !!

Sommelier poured wine from another table in my glass, which you wouldn’t expect in an empty restaurant but can happen only I was drinking champagne… The waiter served the pasta dishes and main course at the same time which I wouldn’t expect in an Italian restaurant. Waiter forgot we ordered 2 pasta dishes when I told him he said we didn’t order it. Think pricing is outrageous for the level of service in that but I guess that’s London post COVID for you. Food is ok but there’s other good Italian restaurants in London at that price point with much better service

Five of us local to the area ate in the restaurant last night. Three of us ordered the spaghetti vongole which was swamped with either oil or butter the shells were mainly open and empty and there was broken shell in the sauce. The fruit plate consisted of mainly apple, with one strawberry and a very small bunch of grapes. The service charge added to the bill was £60! Which I now know was optional and had I known at the time would not have paid it. We were looking forward to our evening but unfortunately this restaurant is very overpriced for very mediocre food. The wine list is also very expensive.

Went for lunch with my boyfriend after reading the good reviews online but let me say I’m so disappointed. The fish was average, my pasta barely had any clams..the service was awkward and unfriendly…we didn’t even want to eat the desserts. If you’re looking for good fish it’s much better in Milos or Scott’s.

Calamari in our appetizer was so over cooked it was like rubber. It was also warm not hot. The tagliatelle with lobster was really good but lobster shell was in the sauce. The worst part about the experience was the woman that was smoking at the next table. Although we were seated outside, the woman at the table next to us kept getting up and facing her cigarette towards us so that she didn’t offend the people she was seated with. We asked the server if smoking was permitted at the outdoor tables and her reply was not really but we don’t stop people. Unfortunately our very expensive meal was ruined by a smoker and a restaurant that did nothing about it.

Had lunch at Santo Mare today, with great expectations as it was my recommendation. Service was poor from the beginning, and continued that way throughout the meal. Getting attention involved much arm waving, delivery of most things was slow, with some items (starters, extra bread) simply not turning up. Restaurant acknowledged their deficiency, knocked off service charge (which we would have questioned of course) and gave us limoncello and biscotti as an apology but scant return for what was a terrible disappointment.

Maybe we were just unlucky, but judging by some other reviews I doubt it. For a standard 15% service charge you expect good service. They look forever to serve us. We needed to remind the waiters repeatedly about the fact they hadn't taken an order or ones they seemed to forget. My starter was delivered 9 minutes before the others. Not good enough.

A lovely dining room with good service. The salads were drenched in oil. The pastas were so-so, but one of us could not and would not eat the presentation. The waiter gladly changed for a red sauce which was mostly oil, again. Dreadfully over-priced.

Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
