I don’t usually write reviews, but felt it necessary for one of my favourite restaurants in London (as much as I love to gatekeep). It is such a wonderful and reliable experience every time we dine at AOK. Huge compliments to the chef and the...exciting menu - each dish is always delivered to the same high standard. We recommend the pumpkin soup, grilled prawns, grilled cauliflower, and baby chicken! I have been going to AOK Kitchen for two years, ignore the recent reviews, as a local who loves this restaurant I can assure you the staff are a delight (ask for Karim the maitre’ D who will look after you with great attention). The...decor and casual yet understated elegance are great, perched on a lovely Marelybone corner street. The food is excellent and the menu has some reliable favourites like pumpkin soup, grilled cauliflower, baby chicken. The sides are also delicious and perfectly seasoned. Im really disappointed and offended by the racism they are treating their customers how rude to cancel customer orders and ask them to get out! .. i would never go back or suggest this restaurant to anyone !

Elisa the receptionist made this the worst experience of my life due to her racism against us muslim ladies. NEVER COME HERE.

We went to A.O.K. Kitchen in London, we were a group of 6, mostly hijabi women. In short, the manager, Elisa, treated us in an extremely disrespectful and racist way. This attitude encompassed the way she talked to us and the way she treated us....We had placed our order and our coffee arrived. She came to us yelling over something that the waiter had done. We told Elisa that because of her behavior, she and the restaurant will be given a negative review. Just a negative review is honestly very generous considering Elisa’s behavior. After that, Elisa started pulling our coffee drinks away from us and kicked us out of the restaurant in an aggressive manner, told us that we are not welcome here, and told us she canceled our order. The way she kicked is out was so bizarre that even the table next to us started wondering what was going on, why the staff was treating us this way. There was no reason or justification for us to be treated this way in the restaurant. The experience was racist. From the moment we came, they acted like they didn’t want us to be there.More

Attention is in the detail and they sure do get it right here. Pretty decor nice ambience and very clever and wide ranging menu with some ingredients showing off top notch provenance ( such as the to die for olives and salads) - proof is...in the pudding as they say! I miss more down to earth cooking in London - who knows could be the beginning of the end of the foams and mousses, smoke and mirrors era thank goodness 😃More

I visited A.O.K kitchen with my husband and parents. As a booking, we're more difficult than most as we have dietary requirements and intolerances. A.O.K kitchen made the visit completely hassle free. There were no issues, no concerns, everything was considered, we felt we were...being advised with confidence and consideration. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the care and attention provided by the excellent Maître d' - Karim. Karim is an absolute joy - friendly, attentive, and takes great pride in the service offered and experienced by any of their guests. Karim is an asset to this restaurant and adds tremendous value to the dining experience. I couldn't recommend this restaurant more and we will definitely be visiting again.More
