My husband's favourite lunch spot. I can be carefree if I don't cook lunch for him on his busy schedule days. Great for project parties. Always full on weekends. Bookings must. Popping in and seats available then you're considered extremely lucky. Super busy and simply great food. Vegans are happy here. Pure-Vegetarians will be pampered of they have their speciality... We basically always come to Sagar when eating out in the West End - the food is amazing, the prices great, the service excellent. You can fill up on a thali or 'just' have a dosa - yum!

The menu has a lot to offer, but since we couldn't decide we've order the plate. The staff was nice and the food was good. There was no activity book for the kids, so they got a little bored.

I had nice food here in the past. This time my dosa was like hard plastic - crunchy and without much flavour. The potstoe inside was cold. The accompanying saag paneer had dried up, chewy paneer. As soon as i stopped eating my plate was whisked away. No longer a nice experience.

Had dosas for lunch with our daughter who works not far from the restaurant. Disappointed to say that having tasted authentic dosas in South India I expected something more exciting but was disappointed to find my paneer dosa was not much different from the other masala dosa except that it had some pieces of fried cubes of paneer. However, the... More

My husband and I visited here on Saturday 21st Jan. We hadn't booked a table. Upon arrival we asked for a table for two, the staff member then pointed to a table and we then assumed he wanted us to take that table. It took ten minutes for the waiter to come up to us to take our order. The... More

Reasonably good food. Good if you are vegetarian as lots of options, esp dosa. Thali was rather expensive. Service was average.

Had dinner there on Sunday, 15th after a long day. We were just visiting London for the weekend. The food was awful, the thali ridiculously overpriced and the place not clean and unhygienic. Avoid at all costs. I lived in Bangalore for so many years and the cleanliness and quality of food, especially Udupi food was a matter of pride.... More
