Very conveniently located near The Kimpton! The staff was amazing friendly and the food was very good! Get the different types of mushrooms, the pork belly, and the Charco Special Roll.

Pre theatre food needed and there were queues everywhere. We got a table in here and very glad we did: delicious sashimi and tempura bentos. There were hotpot’s at other tables too which looked great. Highly recommend

We found Charco Charco Hot Pot in Martins lane. We had no booking and they found us a table, it was great. Some of the best tempura prawns I ever had. We will be going back.

Love this place - it’s just a short walk from Russel Square and Holborn. Serve authentic food and sushi. Offers not Korean/Japanese grill and hotpot too, if you go as a group it’s more affordable and I would recommend booking in advance if possible as...it gets very busy.More

Visited with my daughter for a birthday weekend in London. The best customer service, felt like we really mattered despite how busy they were. Amazing delicious food, great atmosphere, amazing place, a must if you are in Bloomsbury. Great value for money too.

Just had one of the most amazing meals out ever. Fantastic sashimi followed by bbq cooked meat at the table with incredibly tasty marinades and dipping sauces. Excellent service and lovely ambience. Can't praise this place highly enough. Wish I lived around the corner!!

My family and I were at Charco Charco Bloomsbury, London. The guy who welcomed us and explained their menu was good and friendly, although the rest of the staff had a bit more difficulty in communicating in English. The food was fresh and good. We had a look on tripadvisor, and decided to go for a walk and see if there was any tables. Opened the door, and waiter nr. 1 saw us and pointed at "our" table right away.. From there on, excellent waiters and delicious food. Will...be back and then try some of their upscale dishes.More

We happened to find this restaurant when walking along the street. We didn't have a booking so waited for 10-15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a great vibe. After our wait for a table, the staff offered us drinks on...the house, and I recommend the sakura blossom mocktail. We ordered a platter of sushi which melted in our mouth as well as extremely crispy prawn tempura. Lastly, we ordered 3 plated of well sliced meat which we cooked ourselves on a charcoal grill. We discovered this restaurant by accident, noticing it while driving up Southampton Row and curious that it was so full of young Asian diners - never a bad sign. Since we hadn’t booked we had to wait but we soon discovered why this restaurant draws...such discerning clientele. The barbecued meats, which you grill at your table over a freshly delivered urn of smouldering charcoals which sit in the pit of your dining table, are fabulously tasty and tender. We also had shrimp tempura and a big plate of sushi, both of which were exquisite. We can’t wait to go again - we hadn’t even tried their hotpot.More

We booked a table in advance, and still got a bad table. Fortunately we got moved to a better table when it got available. The food was just amazing. We had the wagyu, maki and chicken. The vibe in the restaurant is very cool and...I really like the concept.
