We live locally and have to say this is easily the best Italian restaurant in Notting Hill. Very cosy with a lovely ambience, the service is very attentive, and the food hearty and delicious, making simple but beautiful dishes. The chefs and waiters seem to take great pride in the restaurant. The aubergine parmigiana is to die for!

Came here with another person and had a lovely time. Food was outstanding. First they brought some fresh parsley and olive oil to dip bread in, a very classy touch. We ordered an Artichoke Parmesan salad as a starter which was delicious. And then as mains zucchini linguine and clams pasta, which did not disappoint. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and presented in a very cute frying pan. Loved it. We also had two glasses of white wine of extremely good quality and taste. Even better than the food was the service, they were exceptional and were taking care of our every need. Overall it was an extremely positive experience, a bit pricey (70 pounds for two people) but still definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend it if u are around the are or a looking for a cute place to have a lovely dinner.

My partner and I had a fantastic evening here for his birthday. The food was delicious, the ambience really chilled out and felt like a traditional Italian restaurant. The waiting staff were the perfect mix of being attentive, but not overbearing. And the best part was Spyros singing happy birthday to my partner while he had his birthday tiramisu! We had a brilliant time!

All I need to say is whoever comes and cuts fresh basil in front of you, and then gives you olive oil to serve with the best foccacia is worth a visit. Lovely smells, divine tastes. We had 3 types of pasta, and then desert, pistachio ice-cream and tiramisu. The food was very tasty, but the sweets, oh the sweets !!!! Wonderful!

Wonderful evening at Osteria Napoletana! I went there for a romantic dinner and really enjoyed everything: the pasta we had were simply exceptional, the atmosphere is cosy and we were served by a very pleasant Spyros. The restaurant uses high-quality Italian ingredients and makes sure everything else lives up to it. I highly recommend it and will for sure be back!

We had a lovely dinner at this Italian restaurant. My friend had fish that he enjoyed but said it was a bit too salty. I had the fish pasta and it was nice as well. This was followed by sorbet within their fruit shell put on ice. Great service and very friendly Italian waiter.

I was walking past the restaurant and thought this look nice. When I walked in I was approached by a young man called Spyros who greeted well and showed me and my partner to our seat. The food was amazing as if I was in eating in Italy and the spaghetti pasta with tomato sauce and basil what can I say to die for so delicious. The hygiene of the place was Immaculate very clean. The place looked very classy and trendy. I would like to give Spyros a very big thank you for his wonderful experience.

I went with a friend of mine. We ordered two pasta dishes and one dessert. Everything tasted superb I'm not gonna lie. At this point we were so in love with this place, myself more since I am Italian and I felt i was back home. But everything went downhill when we asked the bill. Few things were charged without even asking. As soon as you've been sit they served us a bowl of bread with oil and basil(served in an impeccable way) which we thought was free of charge but it wasn't. Then thinking it was we asked for extra bread (they charged that too). They refill our bottle of water without asking and they charged for it. End of story, they never warned us what would have been charged, nor asked us if we wanted all of this(referring to the bread and oil,not the extra bread). We ended up having a little conversation explaining all this to a waiter who argued with us as if he was right about it rather then apologize. It was thanks to another person(which i believed was the manager) that they took off the bill all the item unrighteously charged. I was so disappointed by all of it. I wouldn't recommend this place, even though the food was delicious. If you're not careful in here they will made you pay more than what's you've ordered . Also, make sure to specified tap water to the staff otherwise they will charged that too

I will say it was buzy when we arrived and it appeared there was only one waiter working which still didnt account for his rudeness. He took our drink order and seemed irritated, running from one table to another. He bought the wine, said nothing and disappeared. When he finally returned to take our food order we asked for water which seemed to annoy him. The food took a while but no biggie. The pasta was so salty I couldnt eat it. No one came to check on us at all. When he did finally come back to take the plates he did not question why my plate was full, I said to him the food was too salty for me and he just walked off. We flagged down the bar tender who was carrying drinks to a table and asked for a manager, he said there wasnt one but there was an assistant supervisor working, i asked if we could speak to him, he said yes, but no one ever came. The waiter showed back up, dropped one menu on the table and walked off. We assumed that was his way of asking if we wanted dessert, there were 3 of us and he only dropped 1 menu. He came back about 15 mins later and said "what do you want?" I said what do you mean?, he said dessert, i said oh, is that what you dropped the menu for? He became very short lipped and said look, do you want dessert? we said no, he walked off, walked back, dropped the check on the table and walked off again. They had added a hefty service charge which one of our party said no way, called him back again and asked him to remove the service charge (we are typically 20% tippers). Again, he said nothing, walked off, adjusted the bill and then dropped it back on the table and walked off. He never asked us if we wanted more wine, or drinks either. This place has great potential but the service and salty food made it somewhere we will never ever go again.

I visited this sweet restaurant a week ago with my friends, as I work in hospitality as well I didn’t expect to receive such a brilliant customer service from Francesco.. he was really careful at all kind of details, we had a little bottle of our favourite wine, the starter were tasty but the pasta( that Francesco recommended) made me feel like I was living a day in Italy. You are welcome by a classic Italian vibe as soon as you enter the place. 100% recommend and I’m sure I’ll visit it again soon.

4.5* Excellent friendly service. Excellent food. Lovely ambience. Great wines. Amazing puddings. Will definitely be going back here. Little special attention to detail things that you don't need to ask for like bringing a side of fresh bread for a saucy main and a final limoncello with the bill. An overall delight. Keep up the great work team. We applaud you 👏

Had the most amazing meal with friends at Osteria Napoletana tonight. Started with some of the freshest and creamiest burrata I’ve ever had (a whole kilo!) followed by absolutely delicious pasta (pappardelle ragu) served in small copper skillets. Impeccable service across the board - especially well taken care of by Nelson. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Me and my friend went for lunch last Friday August 26 about 2pm and we set inside not far from the entrance door. The service was amazing from start to the end, We shared the first plate and had main course each to follow also one glass of wine each and a bottle of still water. The food was superb and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Fatlum really made our lunch so special even thought we had a very limit time and he really served. Thank you and we definitely looking forward to the next one.

We tried a couple of the other restaurants on this strip, but were not impressed, especially by Basilico, slack service and average food. Napoletana was excellent. Authentic Italian tastes and charming service from Sonja as well as Francesco and wonderful meals from Cristiano....I'm sorry it took me so long to write this, our trip was June 16-21.....

Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last.
