Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Overall, good food and nice place. However, the reasons why I wouldn’t put higher rating are because: - the food is way too overpriced, almost ridiculously - we ordered still + sparking water, and we were charged £4.50 each bottle. However, those were filled up...bottles, unsure if it was with tab or filtered water, but you could see that they were already used, so I believe it’s definitely not very honest on their side to charge for that - Standard service charge in London is 12.5%, but they unjustifiably charge 15% - why?More

Amazing dinner and service by Ilaria and Nelson. They give us great advice about the wine, opinions on the mains to choose and made our experience so great we want to come again.

I had a delightful experience at a lovely Italian restaurant managed by Neapolitans, with a lot of Italian guest. They serve authentic Neapolitan cuisine, including the delectable Pizza fritta. The outdoor seating provided a pleasant atmosphere, allowing us to observe the passersby. The Moscardini with...tomato sauce was truly delightful. My son opted for the Baccala, while I chose the Seafood Scialiatelli. Both dishes were exceptionally delicious, rivaling the best in Naples. The service was friendly and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, as its two Gamberos awards in the Gambero Rosso guide are well-deserved.More

Fantastic food and service with the best tiramisu we've ever had. The only negative thing to say was the tables were very close together outside so the woman sitting less than an arm's length away from me smoking was unpleasant. It would have been nice...for there to be a smoking area on one side of the patio. We would have asked to move inside if it was an option. We will be back to dine inside.More

Deliciousness! Almost mama’s home recipes brought to you from Italy. Baked Cod Napoletana with baked potatoes was divine. Located in the heart of Notting Hill, lovely alfresco vibe. Recommended to book in advance. Thoroughly authentic Italian food. Definitely Delicious.

What an absolute gem! Before heading back to the hotel after shopping, I stopped in for dinner. It was raining so not a lot of people were out and the restaurant was free at 6pm on a Wednesday. The place is small, not great for...big groups, but are able to accommodate if needed. There is an outdoor area on the front and the ambiance is cozy Ordered montanara and the parpadelle - was given bread Let me just pause to tell everyone my favorite part. The waitress came up to my table with a basil PLANT where she proceeded to cut some leaves, shredded them with scissors , and add olive oil for me to dip my bread in 10/10 right there Then the montanara personal pizza came out - I didn’t read it was fried pizza and I loved my mistake. The pizza dough is fried and then topped with sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and basil. The crust was crunchy and the sauce and cheese paired perfectly together. The pasta - my stomach is almost at capacity, but dear lord, I could not stop. Not only that - generous Parmesan. Service was amazing - checked on me frequently and was very friendly. I will be back!More

Very good, and I’m Italian!… The dishes are traditional from Naples, the portions are big enough and presented well. Not a restaurant to impress with the location or the service, but the food is good. The name “osteria” is saying exactly that: “osteria” in Italian...means simple restaurant and this is what this one is. But simple does not mean “average”, it is good. Negative: 1) the music was American sons from the ‘60s, I would expected something Italian if not from Naples 2) the service is good, but not impressive. They forgot to bring me my double espresso and I ended up leaving without itMore
