A great venue with lots of character. Originally the only branch of the Bank of England. Staff were friendly and there was a good choice of lunch options.

We had a drink only. It reminded me of The Royal Exchange by The Bank of England. It had a good feel. Comfortable nooks and crannies to hide in.

Comfortable pub with incredible character and history. Great beer selection. Our shared fish and chips was good. Worth a visit, especially during cold wet December.
