Service was great and friendly to American tourists. We had mixed roast platter to share. Platter included roast chicken, ham and beef, along with potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire puddings with gravy. Totally heaven! The roast chicken was so good, that when we got a 25%...More

Went their for a lunch after a visit of Brompton cemetary. We had a guide and saw graves of celebreties like Amelia Pankhurst. The Bolton is great, friendly staff, good food and very nice ambience.

This place is really quite fancy for a pub; nicely decorated, a lot of little candles and a beautiful "sampling room" upstairs, where they have more than 100 craft beers. The food they serve is fantastic and I really liked the staff, I'm a fan!

I'm a local and not exaggerating when I say the pies here are sooo delicious and made more appetizing by the excellent vegetable selection - deliciously roasted parsnips alongside tenderstem broccoli. And the pub is cozy and warm. Thanks Erik and staff.

Hi there! Thank you very much for your kind words! The pies are our top seller, they are our chef's speciality. We just started a new one: the fish pie with smoked haddock, prawn and salmon. Wanna try?

We were staying at a hotel nearby and wanted something typical to eat. And that's what we got. I loved the atmosphere. It's possible to go upstairs but I didn't go. The staff was not overhelmingly friendly but friendly nonetheless. The föd was excellent: I...More

Obviously this is a busy thriving bar which provides a wide selection and variety of drinks. The food is of a high quality based against many pubs delivery. The staff are attentive and serve you as quickly as possibly with a cheery demeanour. As a...More

We visited The Bolton last week for dinner and drinks. Great service, nice and friendly staff, good food and a large selection of beers available. The pub is large, but still feels very cosy and living room like. The style is like an old pub,...More

This place was just around the corner from the hotel and decided to get in. Good variety of draft beers. A but loud if you want to have a conversation with your colleagues. But the food was generally good. Decent beef. Not sure if it's...More

Hi roman, thanks for your review. Yes, it is generally the norm in pubs, that you place the order at the bar. Table service is mostly in restaurants. Glad you liked our food! Have a nice weekend

First time i have been here for about 35 years. Fairly sure it was an Aussie themed pub then. Now its a cracking corner 1 bar pub with imaginative furnishing and subdued lighting. 5 real ales about £4.50 apint on average and a great range...More

Phil, thanks a lot for your kind review! Glad you enjoyed it! In the past earls court was very Aussie/Kiwi, so youre probably right about the pub. Nowadays, the area is more european & american. You seemed to like your ales and craft beers: next...More

Description
The Bolton is right in the heart of Kensington, meaning we've got our finger on the pulse of everything rushing by - but we also provide a comfortable haven for you to gather together and enjoy a few drinks from our superb range. Good hospitality has always been a cornerstone of our pub on Earls Court Road, which was built in 1892 as The Bolton Hotel - and our original features include a double-height ceiling and snug fireplace, as well as a function room for parties. We're ideally located for trips to Earls Court exhibition centre, the Natural History Museum and Chelsea Football Ground. So how about lunch or dinner after a few hours of exploring?
