Okay - party of two - we ordered for three or a sensible four. Why? Because the menu is so damn appealing and we incorrectly assumed all of these dishes couldn’t be as well executed as their descriptions implied, so we over ordered prepared to...accept a few failures. Silly us. Every single plate was entertaining and well composed. Execution flawless. So here’s a problem, we couldn’t pick a favorite - the one that was absolutely better than the rest. They were all that good. Love that you can see the kitchen from so many tables. Love the decor, cutlery, table and glassware and service. But most of all we love the kitchen. Absolutely lovely dinner. Enjoyed many of the 'small dishes' and every one was superb. Very tasty and also some unusual flavours, particularly the yellowtail tiradito and the ragu. The courgette tempura were light and crispy. Perfect. Went with family and had a great evening. Cocktails...and drinks also excellent. We visited last night and enjoyed the ambience and the food. The only disappointing thing was that the on line wine menu lists white wines starting from £26, with 6 under £40. The wine menu however on the table only had one wine for under...£40. I ordered that and was told it was out of stock. Not a great start, however the food was good and overall we enjoyed it, it just felt as though we’d been pushed into spending more in the wine that we would normally choose to do soMore

Lovely place with beautiful interior and friendly atmosphere. Had a dinner here today and it was an amazing experience. The staff was attentive and helpful. Food was really delicious. We shared a couple of starters and for my main I had lamb cutlets. Desret menu...is nice too and most of the deserts are home made. Panna cotta was absolutely delicious! Went with my friend to have a dinner there. It is unforgettable experience. The interior is very nice, table are quite from others so it is very nice to have a nice chat with friends. Service was excellent. Very attentive service, friendly and professional. BUT...FOOD WAS THE BEST. We tried a couple of starters. Tuna tartar was my favorite one, meat very soft with sauce on top of it. Croquettes were really lovely, a nice starter to share. For the main we had Swordfish and lamb cutlets. Swordfish was really delicious with a nice sauce salsa verde on top. Lamb cutlets were tasty as well. Thanks to wonderful recommendation we ordered two desserts , bonet and panna cota. I always try panna cotta in any place I go and this is one was one of the best. For people who really like chocolate and want to eat nice desserts , bonet is a great one to try. And very nice concept with open kitchen, we had a table near the kitchen, it was really nice to see all the work. Coctails were nice as well. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend and be back soon!More

Fantastic experience at Holmes Kitchen, the staff were professional and friendly, special mention to Stefania from Italy!, lovely decor and ambiance and the outside area has a good view of the busy street of London.
