The place was nice & the service was good. The only problem we had with the restaurant was its portion sizes. We had a main course described as a Boneless Lamb Rack with winter vegetables at £26... It was two tiny slices of Lamb with the smallest portion of vegetables i have ever been served. We all laughed when it arrived in disbelief. A real shame as otherwise nice.

Quickly found a table on a Friday evening - although in hindsight we wish we'd looked longer for somewhere else! Drinks were good and the tuna was delicious (although served with no carbs). Burger quite honestly was disappointing, I can't believe they charge £18 for a burger I'd quite happily accept from a roadside burger van. When we could actually get it, the service was great. I felt bad as they were clearly short staffed and the staff stressed but unfortunately it wasn't a great experience for us and I would not return

With covid-19 it’s nice that we found a table outdoors, but I’m afraid although the service was nice and friendly, the food was pretty bad... we had almost no vegetarian options, the pasta was uncooked (but nice of them to take it off the bill), the croquettes made me feel sick... too cheesy maybe?! And my burger was like one from Burger King but with stale bread (for £16). I don’t know if I should be grateful for finding an outdoor place during these times or be very disappointed with the food. I guess I will know next time I pass by Covent Garden...

We had high hopes for this restaurant with its fabulous location on a beautiful sunny day. It was very busy, which is usually a good sign - but it soon turned out this was due to the incredibly slow service which tables around us were audibly annoyed about. We paid an extraordinary £13 for an uninspiring and decidedly sub-par bruschetta (how can you get bruschetta wrong?) which arrived before our drinks, which we had to chase. The water we ordered with our drinks never arrived. For mains, we both had the linguine which mentioned fresh basil in its menu description. There was no fresh basil on the pasta, so I asked the waiter who said we were correct and went to bring some out for us. A different waiter then arrived to say the basil was already in the sauce so we wouldn’t be getting any extra. See if you can see any in the photo... we couldn’t. The linguine itself was cooked well, very al dente which we like, however the sauce had very little flavour (and not even a hint of basil!). We had to drench it in salt and pepper to make it taste of anything at all. We had to ask twice for said salt and pepper, and by the time it arrived the pasta was going cold. Our main waiter (one of four who served us) was very polite and apologetic to us and everyone around us but the overall experience was not a positive one. This place could be amazing, but we won’t be returning.

Good location for the buzz of London but poor service. Forgot water twice. Didn’t bring cutlery for our main meal and before we finished drinking our drinks they brought our bill because it was obvious they wanted to turn tables. For the price you pay to be here, I think this isn’t acceptable.

Tourist trap, rip off, bad service, only serve tea and coffee in paper cups. Same for soft drinks. When asked for a cup told if I don't like it go elsewhere £25 for 2 coffees a tea and a water all in paper cups. I recommend to go inside downstairs where they play live music much much better. Avoid the tourist trap, first cafe at the front. It's Rubbish

Highly recommend their set menu with the choice of burrata as a starter, vitello tonnato for the main and gelato with fig for the desert. Don’t forget to check out their lounge/terrace upstairs with a lovely view on Convent Garden, admiring the local buskers playing music and magical tricks. Best enjoyed at sunset

A stop for a quick lunch turned into a 2 and a half hour wait for linguine £16 and lasagna £16 . Lovely spot to sit but the cocktails were overpriced at £15 each and the food was the same as you could get in a cheap Italian restaurant but half the size and a very long WAIT. On the plus side our complimentary bread was lovely (supplied to keep us alive due to our wait I'd guess ) and the waiters were polite and apologetic..... I wouldn't go back (even if I had 3 hours to spare ).

Really disappointed with the food the location is super and the serving staff wonderful. We ordered the calamari starter which we only ate a quarter due to the dried rubber texture followed by the special which really wasn’t special. We never complain about food and informed the waiter, we paid the bill and would never return. Such a shame as the staff were lovely.

We decided to visit Vyta on a warm evening and were stunned by the experience. First of all, the location and venue are stunning. Finely decorated and with a fresh look, it truly stands out amongst the competition. We were surprised to find a live dj-set playing during the whole night: the vibe was truly special and gave the dinner a shake up. We were then absolutely pleased with the food. We started our dinner with some fresh fried calamari and a tartare, and continued with some fresh pasta cacio e pepe and funghi porcini. Everything ranging from the seafood to the pasta was incredibly tasty, being Italian we felt like at home. Furthermore, as can be seen by the photos, the plating was stunning. Cherry on the cake, we finished with a taste of ice cream which was brought to us personally by the chef. Lastly, the service of the staff made the dinner truly pleasing. Everyone was kind and outgoing, making sure constantly that we were enjoying our dinner. We will 100% be back. Thanks for the great dinner.

Stopped by last night for dinner. Not particularly busy but waited ages for the first drinks order. Then waited ages to order the food. I ordered the ox cheek which is supposed to be slow cooked for hours and fall apart. I literally had this last week in Northumberland and it was so stunning I decided to have it again. That was my first mistake. Firstly the portions were teeny. Served in a small bowl size of a cereal bowl. Then I tried to eat it. The first piece was full of slimy pieces of fat. The second piece I could barely cut with a steak knife it had that Busch solid gristle in it. I returned it. I’d ordered a side salad if roasted squash with goats cheese. The cheese was ok but the squash was SO COLD and tasteless I couldn’t eat it. By now the replacement ox cheek had arrived. We were now waiting almost an hour for our second drink to arrive after ordering. I took one mouthful of the ox cheeks and as I balked the waiter looked at me as I discreetly spat it into the napkin and shook my head. He took it away. We waited a bit longer. The drinks finally arrived. We drank up and asked for the bill. That arrived FAST. With a £35 service charge! I have no issue paying and tipping. But the service was literally awful. We just paid and left. Never ever again.

During a 5 night break to London, my partner and myself were visiting covent gardens, and we were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch. We saw this restaurant/bar, so we asked if they had a table available, we were given a table, all the tables that were being used were outside, as it was a reasonably nice day. We ordered drinks first, then ordered our food. We both ordered Bruchetta as a starter, when they arrived, we noticed that the edges were a bit burnt, we both tried them, but weren’t too happy with our burnt starters, so we complained, and the waitress apologised. We then ordered our mains, and because my partner loves muscles, she thought she’d order them as a main, and I ordered linguine with tomatoes and pasta sauce. When my partners muscles arrived, my partner opened up a few, and I’m surprised that they were actually allowed to sell them or use them. I had seen bigger broad beans. They were well below the average or adequate size that all other restaurants would use. This was an overpriced lunch for what we received, even though it was covent gardens. Every other restaurant that we had visited in and around central London (the Strand area) were all a 100 times better than this restaurant. If we return to London in the future, we will definitely not use this restaurant again.

Third time in Vyta, always an amazing idea to surprise your guests. A perfect combination between excellent Italian food (very difficult to find in London) , location and atmosphere . The food is simple, fresh and you can really tell the quality. The location is suggestive and elegant, accompanied by great music. A special thanks to Andre and Alvin ( waiter and chef) that they made us feel special with their service and explanation of every single plate.

The pasta was definitely value for money and the prawns were delicious, half way through my dish there were still lots of prawns available which the schedule did incredibly generous about. Have to say I was slightly disappointed at the scallops as they were a bit luke warm, however they were very good size. Half way through my seating Anastasija started serving me and I have to say she was superb, very warm and friendly, made sure all my needs were catered for and gave me advice on the desserts to choose from. It’s really rare to see someone so genuine and authentic in hospitality so that was a great surprise.

Had the chance to have a Saturday dinner at Vyta Covent Garden, and the overall experience is amazing. Food was delicious, real Italian taste, I believe they import fresh food directly from Italy. The service was impeccable and the location is wonderful. You may believe that all these consideration lead to a high price, however, the bill was not as expensive as you may think. Great experience, and extremely valuable value for money restaurant.
