Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Finding good value good sushi lunches in London has become rather difficult as there is a lot of poor quality sushi that is unpleasant around. The chains have also got expensive and have poor choice (everything is only salmon based) and lack consistency between locations....So I was grateful that a friend recommended this place 15 mins from the office. The sushi here is fresh and clearly made on site - I particularly like that they still serve tuna which the chains don't serve anymore. The fish is fresh and good quality sashimi grade, with little fat which many places including the major chains often have (thick white stripes). The meal deal that includes a mix sushi set is also great value at £8.99 and includes the set, a fruit salad/wasabi peas/edamame and a soft drink or miso soup. The staff are also friendly and serve with care and love. Keep at what you are doing!More

I visited during the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, after recommendation from a friend, so was after a good deal. They have a lunchtime deal for a sushi box or hot meal, a small side and either a drink, tea or soup for £7.25...- quite good value. Adding on the 50% off, it came to £3.99 - not sure how the maths here worked out? I’d hope there wasn’t service charge added on, as no service was provided (collect at counter). But good value for what I was getting, nevertheless. I had the chicken teriyaki, fruit pot and a Fanta lemon. Can’t go wrong with a Fanta lemon. The fruit pot was small, with two types of melon and a few grapes, and I wouldn’t had purchased it on its own. The teriyaki dish was a good size for me, contained a pleasant array of vegetables and was tasty; however, I did not like the quality of chicken used. The meat had come from the legs and maybe wings, but I much prefer chicken breast, so left the meat. All in all, a good visit, but I perhaps wouldn’t order a meat dish again.More
