I can highly recommend the lunch menu at Gauthier Soho. Absolutely delicious food, freshly cooked and well presented. Exceptional value for money ( we had the Deluxe menu which included a glass of champagne and two glasses of wine),attentive staff and excellent service. A truly delightful dining experience and I will definitely return! What a treat!

We visited Gauthier soho after a friend raved about her visit a few weeks before. It's fair to say we were not disappointed. We had planned a short lunch, but the lunch tasting menu look so good we opted for that. Scottish scallops were beautifully cooked and accompanied with a silky smooth scallop veloute. Next came truffle risotto, packed with... More

Fantastic discrete location. Amazing value for a set meal in such a high end restaurant. Service was friendly and for a small restaurant you did not feel intimated by the French speaking staff..Would definitely visit again.

This was our second visit - having really enjoyed the first. I'm afraid there won't be a third. On our first visit we were on the 1st floor and it was a lovely mix of tables and nice layout. This time we were on the 2nd floor with 3 other couples - it felt like they'd rammed in 4 extra... More

This is at least the 6th time I have been to this restaurant and before this visit it has always been a bit formal, but well run. That seems to have totally changed and sadly this may well be the last time we go. The food was absolutely outstanding. I had truffle risotto, perfectly cooked and sea bass also cooked... More

After a truly great meal here in December we decided to revisit to see if it was that good, it was! The food here is outstanding, both the standard and vegan menus offer wonderfully flavoured dishes that amaze with each mouthful The restaurant is relaxed and beautifully set out to give you space and comfort and the staff are excellent... It was simply divine! Certainly will want to again for a business lunch. One of friends is vegetarian and he was amazed at the innovative and delicious 9 courses that were created

This was a birthday treat for my sister. Lunch was great - good breads, quality of food was high except the server got a little snooty when we did not have any wine with our meal - we are both not drinkers.

This place is for ultra foodies - if you've eaten everything and want some fine dining, then this is it! Went as a group so might explain the slow service but the food was impeccable! Had pumpkin risotto to start, Welsh lamb and pineapple carpaccio.! Polished that off with the Pinor Gris Le Coq and a cheeky Rioja afterwards! Did... More

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner. It is set in a multi storey townhouse which is quite fun and we were in a fairly quirky room (kinda feels like you are eating in someones house). We did the 5 course menu and I have to say, the food was delicious and the was a good variety. The... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
