Welcomed in with smiles and kindness. Staff were efficient yet relaxed. Perfect breakfast - agree with everyone else. If you ask for a pot of tea be prepared for a large pot with lots of T bags in. Thank you Team Terry

Quintessential full English. Delicious, tasty and resonably priced. My husband and I shared the big brekkie and we were full! The two large teas were also great. Can’t wait to visit again the next time we are in London. Highly recommend!
Staying out of area and requiring a good breakfast before tackling the 4.5 hour journey home, I had the good fortune to be directed to Terry's Cafe. I chose the full English but the variety of choice on the menu was impressive, with such delights...as eggs benedict and eggs royal (as well as a selection of continental items). A full range of teas, coffees and other forms of liquid refreshment were available, I settled for a Mocha which was brewed to my liking. I was met with a warm greeting and seated straight away. It was not long before my order was taken, and breakfast arrived shortly after. The staff were very pleasant, and their was an atmosphere within that was to my liking. The background music was agrèable and played at a level that allowed conversation to take place. This is a cafe with traditional English style and a bit more. If I lived closer I would be a regular customer.More
Had a quick coffee on the way to work- ‘Monmouth’ coffee- so l knew it would be delicious- so on the way back to my motorbike l went in for another. The young female staff member was so friendly, warm & showed genuine enthusiasm &...interest in me. We had a lovely chat. What a stunning place! I’ll be back.More
Where do you take guests visiting from Montreal, South Africa and Italy…..to Terry’s Cafe of course and no one was disappointed or dissatisfied. The food choices and combinations suited everyone and I would recommend the Eggs Royale or Florentine which are new to the menu....Our waiter Fernando was kind, professional and patient as we had a fussy eater. Overall a wonderful meal.More
Terry's café AKA big lovely breakfast. It's a small café with only 10 tables with some tables outside. I ordered 'The blowout' with chips, beans, lots of bacon and more. This is biggest and best English breakfast I've had in London to date; @ £10.50...and 2 teas £3 with an optional 10% service charge. I consider breakfast as a large meal to start the day staple and here I was pleasantly rewarded with a just that. The place is a bit cramp with the tables but lovely décor on the walls, and busy - so you better come early otherwise you'll be queuing to get a table. It has quite a varied menu, reasonable prices, large portions, freshly cooked & popular. So if you ever venture south of the river for breakfast this is a MUST! Mission statement: - try out a number of English Breakfasts from a number of local(Embankment tube station) cafes rather than settle for my lodgings £32 rubber egg, shriveled sausage, dried out beans, cold cardboard toast etc.. for an over-priced, over-cooked, small-portions offering. Having been a waiter in my former life in hotels in Devon I knew what to expect from hotels and knew the only way to get a good, freshly cooked breakfast is find café.More
What a gaff, what a breakfast. Straight in, friendly and incredibly attentive staff. Will definitely be back. Breakfast ain’t bad either!
Speedy, phenomenal breakfast which tasted gorgeous. Will definitely be returning. We did not sample the fry-ups so cannot vouch but the other customers' breakfasts looked monstrous and well worth the price. The staff were funny, friendly and welcoming. We had the Breakfast Sarnie which was...affordably priced at £6.50 and a side of hash browns and some mushrooms which were absolutely fabulous. Quality and locally sourced meat, would definitely recommend to all in the area!More
Okay breakfast ruined by owner being a complete bell end, pulled up in his little white van and left if running for 10 minutes while we were eating our breakfasts 5 feet away. When asked to turn it off we were met with a “what...has it ruined your breakfast” and we’ll yeah it has now you’ve been rude, angry little manMore
The best breakfast we had in the week we´ve been there. The waiters are well trained, friendly and quick. The little cafe is well decorated.
We headed over to terrys cafe from paddington hoping for a lovely brekkie. When we arrived it was quiet and not too busy however we had to scan an app to join a queue. We asked about the seats outside as there was no one...sitting outside and plenty of tables empty outside and then other empty tables inside, and were told no we had to wait in the queue. The member of staff was rude and abrupt. 40 minutes later we got a message asking if we would sit outside- basically wasted 40 mins walking around and by then we decided to head elsewhere so cannot vouch for the food but the experience we had with the staff member left a lot to be desired. Ended up back in paddington where we had a slap up fry and quick service, good food and staff were a lot more welcoming.More
Hi Laura, I'm sorry left feel unsatisfied. Although the cafe may have appeared quite we do have a virtual queuing system (Dojo App) which allows you to join the queue before you arrive , there for tables may of seem available however they were in-fact...More
If you want a proper slap up breakfast in a cafe, this is the place to come. Very decent food and friendly staff. Would recommend.
Popped in for a Breakfast after a late night. I got there around 08:45 on a Sunday morning which was lucky as it got really busy after I arrived and a queue formed. I have to say it was excellent. The ingredients are top quality...which is good to see. I had the "blowout". I thought it was good value for £12.50 considering the quality of the ingredients and the size of the portion which was more than adequate. Service and surroundings were good.More
