Loved the food and hospitality. Highly recommend the Biriyani and the Lamb Rogan Josh. Delightful and authentic Indian cuisine restaurant in the heart of London.

Firstly, it's down a lot of stairs with no lift access so if you're a wheelchair user you're out of luck. We had to carry a pram down the stairs and then back up again. Decor was nice, furniture was nice. We sat and had...a couple of popadoms each (that part of the bill was £5). We'd nearly finished them before getting to order our starters and mains. Drinks were slow to arrive. We then had starters which tasted okay and portion sizes were okay as starters go but £8 each, really? Main meals were slow to arrive. I'd asked if they were able to make a Chicken Jalfrezi which I didn't think was a huge ask for an Indian restaurant. I was told that I could only order what was on the menu so opted for a Madras instead. How is an Indian restaurant not able to make dishes that are slightly different to what is on the menu - are they microwave meals or something? The restaurant was practically empty so it's hardly like the chef was stressed out. The madras was okay, the other half's paneer dish was okay. The card machine wasn't working so I was escorted to the bar upstairs to hand over £63 for what we'd had. Won't be back.More

But the reviews were just as good as the Indian across the street, so we thought we may as well try it. Tasteless, unsophisticated. Asked for strong, but good normal. Rice half warm. Not a place to revisit.More

I tried to call the restaurant to book a table for 16 people for a date two weeks in advance. The first call around 12noon I was advised that the manager was not available and to call back at 16:30.. I called back and was...told the restaurant does not open until 18:00 to call back then. I called at 19:30 and a waiter answered and was very rude and said to dial an extension number, he was far to busy to talk to me as he had guests in the restaurant. He was exceptional rude. Hence we will not be dining at the Fire and Spice bar and kitchenMore

While the ambiance is nothing to write home about, the food and service were wonderful. We really liked what was essentially (but called something else) the build your own curry option. I got to put all my favorites together for the perfect outcome. The staff...helped with with the stairs (we had a stroller) and found us the right table for the baby. It was a very enjoyable experience.More

We love spicy food so we were pleased to see this restaurant was located in the hotel which made life easy for us after a long day on London to be able to relax and have a great dinner in the hotel.

Very basic menu. They didn't have a common dish, Chicken jalfrezi, on the menu so we asked if they can make it and the response we received was "only what's on the menu". They don't even have King prawn madras! This is is the sort...of restaurant where the customer need to meet their needs not the other way roundMore

Food was nice. Service was quick. Ambience was mediocre. They only serve Naans in breads. Dal Tadka was nice.

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods

Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
