This is an odd little place...breakfast, sandwiches...plus pizza and Italian pastas. Not much to look at, but there's outodoor seating too. But I witnessed the complete and utter contemptuous disregard of a customer's questions (full disclosure: the guy behind the counter was OK with me,...More

Food is over-cooked (perhaps rehashed), expensive( £10 for a full English), coffee is burnt and service is non-existent (or Gulag level at best). Nobody will greet you, except with simmering contempt. I felt like an inmate rather than a customer. Nothing joyful here.

We wanted a cheaper breakfast, so we found this small cafe. Unfortunately, I was definitely underwhelmed with the food and the service we received. I asked for a small alteration which they said they couldn't do. I then asked for an addition, which they said...More

Been coming to this place for years. Used to do a great breakfast, coffee and a free croissant, great food, friendly service, busy table and great buzz about the place. Obviously changed hands, it was terrible. Cost has gone up, no free croissant, the waitress...More

I used to go to the Forum nearly every single day to enjoy my coffee (good atmosphere, polite staff...), however, this place becomes worse and worse. Staff became ruder, the shape looks awkward. Also, they used to show you the food through the mirror to...More

Popped in for a coffee while my child slept in the pushchair. Coffee was nice enough but the food on the counter looked dry. Staff were really friendly

Ordered a baguette. Got a pizza... which I decided to try. Very poor. Base was more like puff pastry than pizza dough. Toppings poor quality and bland. It also took 25 minutes to receive even though I was the only customer there. Lady at the...More

Sadly the English breakfast was nothing to write home about. My wife’s avocado bloomer has yet to bloom. The coffee was just fine. The cafe is popular, being busy at breakfast time.

We went to cafe forum yesterday for breakfast. The coffee was really good and there was a great selection of Italian pastries on the counter. Serving staff were surly though and the toast was bread not toast. Expensive breakfast. Place is very dirty. Breakfast was...More

Looks lovely and European, but the staff are crap. Currently sat outside on a table that hasn’t been cleared all morning, drinking a ‘macchiato’ that’s essentially a latte, alongside a shot-sized glass of orange juice. Aside from the substandard F&B, the staff were awful. The...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
