A bit pricey. Got a pint of cider with blackcurrant which cost me £5.60. Then I ordered the chip shop platter which cost £16.50. It had fish, scampi and two fish coujons with chips, mushy peas and curry sauce. Wasn't keen on the coujons as...More

Fish platter delicious - and so was the lager - sit away from the door as a bit draughty but all in all a great lunch in a spot on location.

Went here for dinner on my last night in London and it was packed to the rafters. Managed to get a small table over at the side of the staircase. Fish & chips portion was huge and fried to perfection. Love it. Service was good....More

We popped in here to get some late breafast on Boxing Day. We were quickly served some pretty good english breakfast for a decent price. The bartender however was less than helpful/courteous, looking upon me with scorn when I asked for more sugar for the...More

We didn’t want lunch, just a couple of drinks. We were told we can’t sit down at the tables as they were only for people eating lunch. Ridiculous! The ladies toilets are a disgrace. The lock on one of the doors is broken so could...More

Popped in St Stephen's Tavern for breakfast with a colleague yesterday. The location is great- right opposite the Houses of Parliament, just off Westminster Bridge. It was rather cramped inside (you need a table each really if you're eating!) but it wasn't too busy in...More

Great little tavern with a fantastic location. Go upstairs for the best atmosphere (via the back stairway). Wonderful fish and chips.

Stopped in prior to a service at the Abbey. It is right next to the Underground station so easy to find. The bar area is quite small and there aren't all that many tables. Food is London prices but the sausage sandwich was very good,

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to

Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
