Northern Indian cuisine with reasonable price as well compared to similar restaurants. Service unfortunately was poor.

Food was very good but small portions and pricey. Seating was very uncomfortable, toilet was dirty and a waiter was lurking outside the door, when I came out the ladies which I thought was in appropriate. Waiter was also attempting to flirt.(very unwanted, just because we were a group of women did not mean we wanted this sort of attention... More

We visited on a Saturday evening and other than one single lady the restaurant was empty. The service was quick and friendly but we ordered wine and got beer. The food arrived quickly. The starters were ok but the main course was dreadful. Very little chicken in the Madras but sauce was ok. The tandoori chicken was far too spicy... More

This must be the poorest curry I have eaten in a long time. There was very little sauce and the lamb was awful leathery kebab meat. They don't sell alcohol which is not a bad thing but I saw few people caught out! Some of the tables are squeezed into a passageway with very little space. And its not cheap!... More

Luckily we were sat at the window because as more customers arrived the restaurant became a bit cramped. Our starters & mains were very tasty, come here hungry as the portions are big. No drinks licence but you can BYO, I popped across the street to get a couple of Cobra beer. Service was good with the staff being friendly... More

We ordered Roti, Nan, Lamb Curry, Dhal, Biryani Rice and finished off with Indian Milk Tea. Taste is pretty good, place crowded, service is fast and friendly. Overall experience was good.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
