A local pub hidden down a quiet residential street just off Clapham Common, The Bobbin is a warm and friendly place to meet, drink and eat the very best seasonal food. We aim to to do justice to both the 'Gastro' and 'Pub' bits of the Gastropub! We hope you'll feel very welcome to come down for a quick pint as much as for a 3-course dinner. We are open for Lunch on Fridays and the Weekend and Dinner every evening.

Nice enough place to visit, but I always find the drinks are quite pricey. For example, a large glass of very average Pinot Grigio is £10.30 - and I think that is more than enough for a pub. Food is better value but the quality...More
A rather expensive Sunday Roast, in which I had to ask for a Yorkshire Pudding. To my surprise, I was then charged an extra 50p! For dessert I had the stick toffee pudding, which was an incredibly small portion, certainly not worth £6. To add...More
I was seated at a table and then moved several times because of a miscommunication between the staff. It was absolutely ridiculous. There was no apology on their part at all just a shrug and “well it happens”. Not worth the ridiculous prices for the...More
Brazilian chef, however I had the best al dente cooked Pappardelle in a long time. Everything was tasty. Good choice of beer. The dessert were the weakest link of this place, small, expensive and my tarte tatin was tasteless. Overall, everything was great.
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of clapham high street head here. Lovely friendly pub. Good beer. Perfect for chilled drinks with friends and family. No loud music and can normally get a seat. The beer garden outside is small...More
Been here a couple times but visited most recently with some friends. Great choice of drinks (had Camden beer!) and charming interior with a black cat to boot!
We ordered a couple mains and they were all delicious and generously portioned. The prices are more...More
Deceptive from the outside and as you enter - a typical ‘pub’ but behind bar a bright restaurant and an even better small but charming outside area.We sat outside on a warm sunny day. Food good - service good. Recommend by someone who goes there...More
Looks cute from the outside but quite shabby and run down when you go in.
Food was very disappointing, the roast was extremely salty and the pasta was like Tesco pasta dumped in a pool of water on the plate.
More expensive than other pubs...More
