I went in to get out of the cold and it was lovely and warm, I enjoyed a very reasonable priced hot chocolate, this is definitely a place tourist probably look for if they are on the royal hunt …. And there are very many lovely photos of the late Princess of Wales covering the walls, one of her actually sat inside the cafe, so you can sit where she sat! It is very close to Kensington palace so she was probably visiting because she was kind but I pray she didn’t use the toilet while she was there, totally let the place down.

Fine neighborhood place for breakfast with a good choice of food at a reasonable price. The full English breakfast met all the typical expectations although there were many different more healthy options. The orange juice was a generous serving and so delicious. Fun Princess Diana ambiance. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

I came here for a drink as I was early for an appointment nearby, and found this a lovely café. They have a large variety of snacks, and all the normal café meals plus Middle Eastern options. The lady at the counter was friendly and the service was great.

Comfortable place, service and excellent food with a very affordable value! It was me, my husband and my son, we ordered the full English breakfast (2 eggs, 2 bacons, 1 lingui, half a cooked tomato, beans (I believe it is with tomato sauce or ketchup), mushrooms, 1 hashbrown and 2 toasted ) and 2 more hashbrowns, a coffee and a water. Very well served.

On saturday we stumbled into the Diana cafe so we popped in for some breakfast. The cafe was fairly busy which is normally a good sign that a place is good. After waiting about 10/15 mins the waitress finally came to take our order. This was a hard task as the waitresses english was not the best. We ordered a big full english and avocado and poached eggs with two orange juices. The waitress then brought over one set of cutlery, so we had to ask for more. Then when the food arrived we had to ask for our drinks. The waitress completely forgot that we had ordered them. We even had to ask for sauces and salt and pepper. The food was pretty good to be fair. I really enjoyed my full english. Although my wife had ordered her poached eggs to be well cooked but they were not. By this time she couldnt be bothered to send the eggs back as we were starving. We did ask for some extra butter for our barely buttered toast but that never arrived. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, which we didnt know we had ordered. The OJ was ok, but warm. We finished our meals and wanted to pay, but the waitress was no where to be seen. We eventually went to the counter (which is tucked away round the corner) where we encountered one of the rudest men I've ever dealt with in my life. He barely acknowledged us, just typed away at the calculator before charging me 32 pounds. We were left baffled and asked him how the meal could possibly add up to 32 pounds? The orange juices were charged at £5.50 each!!! On the menu, orange juice was listed as £2.50. But as we ordered fresh orange juice (which we didn't) that was the reason why it was £5.50 a glass. We looked towards the waitress as if to say that it was her mistake, but she couldn't care less. They even had the cheek to add a service charge. I was extremely tired and the place was so hot and muggy that I really didn't have the energy to argue anymore so reluctantly paid the bill. I was so angry at myself for the remainder of the day as I should've refused to pay it. I wouldn't go back and I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone else go there either.

Firstly not at all friendly, the guy took my order which he didn’t seem to understand, I repeated my order, what came was weird, and English breakfast with toast, then another plate with two more toast and two sausages, and a mug of latte, I ordered after my breakfast another latte, total bill £24.00. A shocking rip off. Not one for arguments I paid and left, and will never ever return. Absolutely disgusting service.

We wanted to sit out for a meal as we have been doing for years, but were told outside tables were reserved for smokers only! We did not want to smoke. Neither of us has ever smoked! Later we passed by again and it was evident that people were at outside tables eating rather than smoking. So our 15 year patronage of this place has sadly come to an end.

There were 5 of us visiting from the US, and we chose this cafe for breakfast. There might be a language and a cultural barrier but figured I’d post for potential Americans. The server was very nice but she was the only one working with multiple tables. Things were forgotten, and orders did come out wrong. Things were fixed but it was because one of us went to the counter. The biggest thing I had an issue with was that I asked for orange juice. I expected the $3 OJ, but apparently received and was charged for the $6 fresh squeezed OJ. The food was not very hot either-it didn’t melt the cheese on my sandwich. The cafe was clean; overall, we didn’t have a great experience.

What a feast we had ohhhhh my goodness the kebabs are the best I have ever tasted ever ever ever. We had salad roasted tomatoes peppers Etc The falafel was so beautifully presented like wonderful little lemons and our freshly squeezed pomegranate Juice was just the job for a sunny day sitting outside watching the world go by Staff were so very friendly and super efficient. My only wish was that we didn’t have this restaurant on our doorstep

This cafe was just across from Kensington Palace and a perfect place to start our day. Wonderful traditional British breakfast. Staff told us stories of Lady Di coming for coffee and food, and pointed out the different photos on the wall. A very worthwhile stop!

Please remove her license to use Lady Diana Spencer's name and her photos. The red patent leather benches are disgusting, no, the following, and they are not ashamed to have the cafe so deteriorated It's disgusting to enter, it's a shame Let's see if any of the children stop by and they do some small renovations.

Stopped here for coffee after a day of walking around the area. Staff were welcoming to us and our dog and the coffee was genuinely the best we've all tasted for a long time. When next in London we'll be be back to sample more of the menu.

Service is good. Falafel is excellent. Salads are large. Atmosphere is darling with lots of pictures of Lady Diana. Inexpensive food, big menu. It was good 3 years ago, so I returned and was not disappointed. Diner style booths, not fancy. Good breakfast menu too.

They only want Iraqis / Easterners. I was left in a shabby cold takeaway area and only saw as I left a cosy restaurant. Pitta salad only pickled. Despite tomatoes on. Cooler. Off hand patron was effusive to other Muslims. As a Diana fan I was appalled he uses her image. Don't go there.

Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
