Awful time

Saw the reviews so booked here for my birthday but Food was extremely dry (lamb doner, chicken doner & fish) also ordered a mixed shish & we just had patties no chunks of meat as we were expecting. The drinks were watered down & cocktails...tasted awful. I booked a group booking & were given the only option of a set menu without being told prior on the booking or call. Was told “well it’s all over our Instagram page so that’s all there is” Live music was being played but was so loud we couldn’t even speak. Overall I didn’t enjoy my birthday experience. Gokyuzu restaurant was a much better experience, food & drink & decor. The group were so hungry that we went to McDonald’s after.More

Never again.

We arrived in good time for our reservation. On explaining to the waiter that we had a reservation and showed him the email confirmation, he spoke with others and judging by the body language, it was clear that they missed our booking. Having been taken...down stairs to sit at a table and wait for ours to come free, we then went back upstairs. The waitress (the elderly one of the two) could not have been more rude if she tried. When we were seated, we were asked straight away for our order. Having asked twice for her to give us a couple of minutes, we then ordered. On asking if we could order drinks, she went and put our food order in then came back for the drinks one. I have never known this happen anywhere before but we were all conscious that we were an inconvenience to these people through no fault of our own and it was as if we were being punished for this. The food arrived that was nice and tender but lukewarm at best unless this was done on purpose so we ate it quicker!!! Even the casserole my wife had was not very hot. As soon as we finished eating, the plates were gone. My wife dared to ask for the dessert menu which was then met with an annoying look from the older waitress. The actual desert was then slammed down in front of her which made a slight change from the rubber plates that our main meal was on as they did slightly bounce on landing. As we individually finished our drinks, these were whipped away from us and the table started to be completely cleared with the bill arriving at that time. It was as if we weren't welcome and certainly not welcome anymore!!! As we left, the gentleman stood by the counter on the way out apologised for the rushed service. That confirmed to us that we had been forgotten about and also confirmed our thoughts of being punished for daring to make a reservation in the first place that they had missed. Never again!!!More

Fees experience

I recommend this restaurant for the excellent food and for the personal, who is really nice 😁 they gave us humus and bread from the house 😍

Good experience

We had a birthday celebration her over the weekend roughly 45 people. Tables had been laid out well, food was very good, everyone enjoyed it. Food was actually better on the day, than on the previous occasion when we had gone to have lunch and...try it out, before booking the venue. Bit slow service, but not an issue on that day, as everyone was busy catching up with each other. We were also able to use their music system to play some music we'd brought along. Also, connected to their TV, to play couple of videos for the kids to watch and not get bored. Good party, enjoyed it.More

Simple and sound

I dined here with a couple of friends on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was quiet at 7 but filled up as the evening went on. We shared a selection of hot and cold meze to start all if which met our expectations. I the...opted for the mixed treble kebab of cubes of lamb, fillet of lamb and chicken accompanied by a side of chips. Dessert was a bowl of cold rice pudding. Although all very simple the food as good and hit the spot. Very fairly priced too.More

That’s ;real Beyti ;They call !!! When I eat it, I bite my finger, delicious

When you go there ask them Döner kebab And hot meze’s delicious!! And They Call mix kebab. Lamb chop lamb shish, chicken shish, lamb ribs, and finally they called BEYTi , amazing I strongly recommended

Great food, staff and atmosphere - you have to visit!

Amazing restaurant, loads of interesting history and pictures/artefacts on the wall to take you to Turkey! It was warm and very clean. The staff were very very friendly and helpful when we were choosing our meals. The food was simply amazing, beautifully presented, tasted divine...and generous portion sizes. We didn't want desserts, but were offered a complimentary beautiful fresh fruit platter which was refreshing. Nice selection of cocktails and wine - the boys had the 'local' Efes beer of course. Fabulous atmosphere and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We're heading back in October so will definitely visit again - see you soon :-)More

Unforgettable night out

Absolutely amazing place. Food is outstanding. Cold, hot mezes and their grill are really nice. people is so friendly. Live music is another level with Mustafa. I havent had such a great time quite long time. Me, my friends and my family will definitely visit...Efes again. If you want unforgettable night out, I highly recommended to everyone to visit Efes.More

Wonderful Friday evening at Efes!

Awesome atmosphere with a tasteful menu, good range of drinks. Deniz and Ergin were wonderful hosts. Entertainment with Mustafa has been one of a kind. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for a fun evening out and a delightful dinner.

Perfect cute restaurant

Came here last Friday for my birthday and had one of the best meals of my life. The atmosphere is amazing. It’s such a cute restaurant with a backstreet sort of vibe which has a veranda at the front with tables that fits the environment...nicely and is such an atmospheric place to chill. I came here with my girlfriend and all the staff are very home like with you, giving you genuine love and care. They thought we were a nice couple so they gave us a few free shots and a desert on the house. The waitress who was our primary server really gave us everything. The food was so good. We had a few starters to share and I had the halloumi and avocado salad for my main and my girlfriend had the vegetable musaka. Both safe bets but both tasty dishes. It’s the sort of place you can go for a long meal and hang out. They also have entertainment that fits the environment. Belly dancing downstairs and upstairs and music downstairs. Would love to thank the whole staff for giving us an amazing time. Will be backMore

Fantastic!

Yet another fantastic evening at this wonderful restaurant, we visit here whenever we are in the city and are never left disappointed, the food is beautiful and the staff are so attentive and friendly.
