Always a great place for breakfast. It's now firmly on the tourist map so wait times at the weekend can be around 15 mins. But it is worth it. A great traditional breakfast and great value. Staff do an outstanding job.

This place is like a step back in time to the seventies ! Red chequered curtains Formica tables plastic chairs ..tiled walls ... limo floor ... A great piece of history in the hustle and bustle of Pimlico ... the food is basic cafe menu but not greasy .. Very reasonably priced ... if I'm ever in this area again... More

There are a selection of British breakfast items, all of which make for a nice breakfast with a very reasonable price. You know it has to be good when you see a table of London P.D. eating there.

Took a cab there on a rainy day in February. Queued for about 5 minutes, not bad. I had the standard breakfast, all rigorously correct and very fresh. My daughter had eggs benedict with smoked salmon. Strong tea. Very friendly cockney staff. Great place - a London icon, especially if you like the Spurs.

The breakfasts at the regency cafe are second to none. A great selection of add ons, and all really good value. A must visit.

We arrived to long queues and full seating which was a good sign. The Policy is no one takes a seat until they get food.... I have never seen such fast paced service! The lady on the till was taking orders, making tea, directing the kitchen and bellowing food was ready without taking a breath. Food is delicious and simple...... More

Great cafe with plenty of characters, food is great, be mindful not to take a seat before ordering your food, you'll be in for a mouthful of deserved abuse, and rightly so, the queues can be long!

In my option this is the best traditional cafe in London. The food is plain and simple English. Delicious and good value.

We had lunch and it was great, the food was great, the place itself was lovely to relax in. The mug of tea is probably the best I had had in a long time, probably as it helped wash down the all day breakfast and vast slabs of bread! Highly recommend.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
