This place has an iconic feel to it. It can be found in a very unassuming residential area of Westminster down a quiet street. There was a queue of about 20 people in front of us on a Saturday morning and it grew behind us until it was out of the door by the time we left. It's worth it... More

I've never queued for a cafe before but I'm glad I did this time. A no nonsense place that cooks good food. Cash only, no bookings or table service. Don't expect cappuccino's, latte, etc - coffee & tea with or without milk :) There's no time for a leisurely meal due to the number of people visiting but you won't... More

My husband and I were thrilled to find this wonderful, hole-in-the-wall cafe in London's Westminster neighborhood. The line seems to be long, at times, but it moves rapidly, as the cooks and bussers are constantly on the move! You should read the menu while you're in line and be prepared to order when you're at the front of the line... More

A truly great, tasty English breakfast with coffee (yes, I had it instead of tea, believe it or not) at a great price.

We came straight here after arriving in London from the U.S. Had an excellent breakfast, having been served by a real character who was running the place. Very true to itself, without being so into itself it was unbearable. Excellent choice for an easy London breakfast,

We arrived just after 10am on Saturday 12th March 2017. A lot of people were in the area with an Eng v Scot rugby match at Twickenham and the David Hockney exhibition at Tate Britain. The queue was about 30 metres outside the door. 45 mins later we were sat down having our breakfast. The ingredients especially the sausage and... More

I think this is quite an overrated place, the queues are always very long and the food isn't anything above average in my opinion. Out of the food I have tried there, the chips are too overdone to my liking, the sausages are average and the shepherds pie was a fail.

Thank you to the manager for letting us in when the door was closed as our friends was already in the queue and we were running late. Loved the cooked breakfast, freshly cooked. Very clean. Excellent value for money. We will be back.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
