Had French onion soup as a starter, Rub Eye steak for mains and apple tart with blueberry gelato. So good and professionally served.

Very good, polite and informative service. Our steaks were exceptionally good. My cheeseboard was perfect. £98 with a bottle of red, which I didn't think was bad for central London

We celibrated my 30th birthday with a dinner on this Hotel. The service is fantastic both in the restaurant and at the Hotel. We had a great surprise with the birthday dessert. The Big minus was that we order a 3 course dinner but the main course was just 3 small peaces of meat (reminded of a starter). After the... More

Went there for our 36th wedding anniversary and opted for their " Chateaubriand for 2". It was the most over rated and expensive steak and chips with a few limp leaves as side salad, in a restaurant full of children. Never again and not our idea of fine dinning.

The set menu (available 5.30 to 7pm) was excellent value, offering 2 or 3 course options however the drinks more than doubled the cost of the meal.

Staying at the hotel, after a few nights eating out we decided to eat in. It was a good choice and we had dinner on two evenings. The menu, on all courses, was a little limited for our tastes but the food we had was good. The range of drinks was also good enough. However overall the cost was expensive... More

My wife and I had an evening meal here and I must say the service was extremely good and can't fault the food. We enjoyed all three course and would be happy to return.

Myself , Wife and Daughter dined on Sunday 11 December 2016 and were disappointed with the starter and dessert menu . Unfortunately it did not suit our liking but I am sure many other guests would like it. The service was good and friendly . also the atmosphere was disappointing

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
