Popped in on a sunny Sunday afternoon for lunch before one of they Hyde park concerts. The place was busy, but the service was excellent. We both had the cod fish which was a special item. It was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The food...More

Went twice on my recent visit to London, as I was staying at The Sumner Hotel which is a few doors down. I tried Fish & Chips, as well as a couple desserts, and found everything to be high quality. Service was nice as well....More

Service was poor. Perhaps the inability of the waitress to understand what we wanted to order was down to the sheer volume of noise. The food came swiftly, but with side orders missing (which followed on later). The meal was OK, but overpriced for what...More

Great, smallish British restaurant. Good traditional food, great beer. Staff that knows what they are doing and good prices for the city and location. Do go there!

Great food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great wine selection as well as beers. Friendly staff and comfortable for anything from a date to a night with the family.

But, favouring Northern brews, I really struggle with Southern beers. They had a number of guest beers, as well as the standard London offering, but I just can't get used to them, no matter how much I try. But, of course they stock G&Ts, so...More

We went searching for lunch after an overnight flight, and found The Portman by accident. The fish and chips, plus the pint of Murphy's, were just what the doctor ordered. The staff was welcoming and service was fast. We liked it so much we came...More

Overall, very positive experience. Honest and very tasty breakfasts - we had English breakfast and Florentine eggs. Good coffee. Nothing special about the pub's interior; restaurant upstairs has very authentic old-school look - made us want to investigate properly. Staff was friendly and caring -...More

Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it

I can remember there were vegetarian food, but I am not really sure, if there were gluten-free food. But I saw the menu on their homepage and they can handle any kind of allergy.
