Came for a date night… well what can I say from start to finish the food, service and dining experience was all so lovely, there was so much to choose from, we had the steak that was cooked to perfection and the seabass which was...cooked beautifully, so many different desserts to choose from and all homemade too, it was hard to just choose one so we opted to share a few and trust me, you’d want to make sure you have room for desserts after Thank you to all at Roy’s, we’ll definitely be back soonMore

Just had a lovely midweek meal here. The food was delicious and the staff were helpful and lovely. The chicken Alfredo was delicious and portions were huge.

First timers for us on Friday night. Restaurant lives up to the great reviews. Friendly, busy atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again. From reading previous 3 negative reviews, obviously from same group, it’s such a shame in this current climate where restaurants are trying to...keep afloat because of the rise in energy costs and the pandemic, that they feel they should harm the reputation of a business. My advice is go try this restaurant, the positive reviews outweigh the negative.More

Rude staff and no customers I wonder why ! Empty on a weekend ?? that’s tells you it’s gone down hill ! I saw on the restaurant group on Facebook it was good but since I’ve been others who have dined who I told about...my experience have agreed not to go back. Burgers are awful I think Tesco’s taste better. Salt everywhere I couldn’t taste the food it just tasted of salt. No salad dressings either. Staff slammed the bill on our table and brought the machine to pay Chef said he was not the chef but that’s funny he is all over the wall photos of him dressed as a chef unless he has a twinny lol 😂😂More

Great night, came in on Sat - was greeted by two waitresses who took our coats and gave us the menus. We ordered a few starters to share and then had the steak and lamb cutlets which seem popular here. Towards the end of our...meal we noticed a table who asked for the chef- who came out and spoke to them in a polite manner, however I noticed in a previous review this has not been stated. Its so disappointing to see customers using review platforms for a personal feud and twisting events to suit their agenda. It was later revealed that these customers were being disrespectful to the waitresses.More

Excellent food, staff very friendly and helpful. We had burgers and also the steak which came out great and were made to order perfectly. The head chef came out and was very friendly and spoke to the customers. The deserts were amazing and there’s usually...a new addition each time we go.More

We booked this restaurant on recommendation, not sure what people have seen. We had a notification before to ensure that we were attending but at no time was there any notification of any shortages from the menu. Having arrived we were presented with a menu,...still no notification of any shortages. While talking to the next table, they advised us that there was no Veal. We then asked the staff who informed us that they have difficulty with suppliers. We then asked for pasta bolognaise. Now we are told that there is no bolognaise. Most restaurants make their own, how is this OUT at 8pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is half empty. We booked days ago. We ended up ordering the burgers. 1 ordered with just Burger and Bun. 3 without bacon, 1 of which was not to have lettuce. Firstly plain burger is covered complete in cheese, so sent back. Other 3 covered head to toe in cheese. The 1 without lettuce has lettuce. Mushrooms ordered, limp and soggy. Our starters were fine. But these burgers were tasteless apart from cheese. We asked for the manager, the chef came over with an attitude. He accused us 2 men and 2 women all over 50 of insulting his staff. ( Not at all true) He made no apology and walked away. The head waitress came over and instead of asking if we would like a dessert or a coffee, I am given the bill and told by the waitress that she has taken off the burgers and “I take it you don’t want anything else!” We were made to feel that they wanted us to leave, so we paid and left. We won’t return, there are many quality restaurants within a 10mile radius far superior for us to frequent.More

Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Will definitely return and can happily recommend to others.

Had read and been given very good reviews on this restaurant but after going there tonight I think there must be two restaurants of the same name as this one was not very good at all Most things on the menu for one reason or...the other were missing Place was empty which was odd for a Saturday evening for a restaurant with good reviews supposedly because they had been so busy last weekend with Mother’s Day which is odd as the clients for then would have been completely different to tonight All I can say is really do yourselves a favour and give this place a wide berthMore

A local restaurant for us and what a pleasant surprise! Great food, atmosphere and service Portion sizes were great, reasonably priced and once through the door we felt we were properly ‘out’ Not keen on the lights around the windows though !!
