Have been visiting McChina for a number of years and always been satisfied with food and service. Recent visit I was shocked at prices - £4 for a sauce, £12 for chicken balls, most starters £10 and above. £100 for a visit for two with...only one glass of wine each. Hitting Good Earth prices for food and setting which doesn’t quite match. Sadly will be put off a repeat visit in the near futureMore

Amazing Service and Food

We absolutely love this restaurant! It is our go to on a Friday evening with family and friends! We’ve ate both at the restaurant and also ordered a takeaway! The takeaway always comes hot just like it was served in the restaurant and is absolutely...delicious! We have been going to this restaurant for over 5 years! The staff are lovely and the service is always outstanding!More

Not a good experience

I did not have a good experience here. The food was disappointing and I felt expensive for the quality. The main came incorrect and once finally arrived, far too sweet and sickly. It was described as hot but had no flavour whatsoever. The atmosphere of...the restaurant was very chaotic, loud parties, glasses being smashed. Service was not good. Waited 20 minutes to order, another 10 minutes for a can of coke to arrive, 20 minutes for the main which arrived incorrect and then a ridiculous 27 minutes just to pay after chasing twice. The table was being wiped down and cleaned for the next guests while we were still seated. Plenty of lovely restaurants in the area - this is not one of them.More

Busy, friendly, and dealt with problems very well

The staff maintained their smiles and friendliness despite the rush from Year of the Rabbit diners. The service was slow , probably as a result of the rush. When 2 staff collided with a crash of broken glass over our table and 2 of us...the staff leapt into action , replacing our Duck , offering free drinks and a free dish of Mongolian lamb which was very tasty. A warning: tables nearer the kitchen should be avoided in cold weather as they can be subject to an icy blast from the doors- this might be a benefit in hot weather of courseMore

Terrible food

Ordered take away and delivery came promptly. The food was truly bad. Ingredients were cheap, tasted bland at best and chemical at worst. Sauce was practically fluorescent in colour. It was inedible.

Best Chinese around

I love McChina! The best Chinese around, the food is alway fresh, hot and delicious. The staff are lovely. We travel around 40 minutes to get from here because it’s the best one and worth the travel! Top job guys!

Husband 50th birthday celebrations

Shocking service and food was awful

Order takeaway waited 2 hours for it to be delivered, they never answer the phone not great service ! When food arrived it was awful worst Chinese I have ever had £60 on Chinese and no one ate it

Wonderful best restaurant around

Absolutely beautiful food Iv never had such a wonderful Chinese and iv been to China over 15 times. The food is a bit more expensive then a regular Chinese but worth every penny. The staff are wonderful and very attentive. Again I’d recommend this restaurant...to anyone. BeautifulMore

Best SW Chinese Takeaway

Been looking for a good Chinese takeaway since moving to Battersea and I've found it. Really good food, great portion sizes and great delivery service. Will definitely be ordering again and recommend anything 'salt & chilli', really good.

Best Chinese Ever

Wonderfully clean restaurant with an open view of the kitchen. Great staff and the food is excellent. Can not recommend this place highly enough. They also do a take away menu.

Really nice Takeaway meal

Bought a selection of dishes for a family birthday meal. Food came promptly and nicely packed in a cardboard box. We ordered chicken wings which were well received by the elders who enjoyed them with relish. The vegetable spring rolls were crispy and tasty. We...ordered s mixture of noodles and rice and meat and vegetable dishes. All went down very well by each member of the family. Food stayed hot for a long time and there was enough for left overs despite us eating our fill. Having enjoyed a number if takeaways from here I'm hoping to eat in the restaurent soon.More
