The Lido Cafe is on the edge of beautiful Brockwell Park so when the cafe is full (and weather permitting) it makes sense to take away and eat picnic-style in the park. The Lido Cafe isn't really built to handle this kind of thing well....More

Visited there with family, weather was good sat outside with views of the lido, lovely. For groups over 3 people I would recommend booking a table. The staff were great, very polite. The 'strongman breakfast, on the website, is not available. We ordered teas and...More

The service is very slow, the food is average but the setting is very nice. Sitting outside in the sunshine by the pool is why you come here and I will continue to do so just not at the weekends when they clearly can't cope...More

Don't bother going here! I had booked a table for brunch yesterday with friends, after ordering we waited 1.5 hours for our food with NO explanation as to what the hold up was. Even when I asked twice why it was taking so long we...More

I've been to the Lido before and it was average. I wasn't blown away but it's a decent setting and the weather was ok so my friend and I decided to go there for some brunch. It was really really bad. The service was honestly...More

I'm struggling to find any positives about this place. My Lido Cafe experience started as I waited at the front desk without acknowledgement for 15 mins, finally being approached by a member of staff letting us know that "some of the kitchen equipment was broken",...More

Visited on not particularly busy day - waited about 50 minutes for the food to arrive and when it did each of the elements of my breakfast were stone cold. Having waited so long I didn't want it replaced. Kids food a rip off. Even...More

Great location, good but overpriced coffee and cakes. Condescending staff, everything seemed an effort to them.

After years of meaning to stop in here for brunch i finally made it and boy did it live up to expectations. We sat poolside on the outdoors terrace despite it being Jan. There were heat lamps and it was a clear sunny day so...More

I swim at the lido all year round and love the lido cafe. It's tucked away and over looks the pool. The food is great, we usually have brunch. Have never had a bad meal here. It is always busy so you do need to...More

Description
In its contemporary form, The Lido Cafe was opened in 2009 following a massive refurbishment of Brockwell Lido. Open to the general public as well as swimmers, it is far from a typical poolside cafe. An elegant, sophisticated affair, it prides itself on locally sourced ingredients, the seasonal menu and a modern approach to dining. Paired with a handpicked European wine list and locally brewed craft beers, the menus change to suit the freshest available ingredients, sourced from independent producers. The breakfast and brunch selections are fresh, healthy and indulgent, with options to suit all tastes. Dinner is served in the summer months when al-fresco, sunset dining on the terrace attracts customers from all over London to this unique setting.
