An old-fashioned pub tucked away in an up-market backwater, within strolling distance of retail and diplomatic Knightsbridge and Belgravia. Good beer, interesting and generously-filled sandwiches, nice chips, and an appealing atmosphere. What more could anyone ask for on a Saturday lunchtime?

Have been to the pub previously during the week and it has been always very busy. Called this time at the weekend and it was wonderfully quiet. Beer is always excellent and the food very good standard of pub fare. Pub has an allegedly chequered...More

A proper pub with great real ales. This was my local 40 years ago and it seems little changed. Lovely atmosphere and the toilets are spotless! I really enjoyed returning to an old haunt of long lunches extending into the early evening!

All of the beers we sampled were amazing! Don’t do the touristy thing like I did and order food. Just go for beer and have a ball!

Dear Phil K, Happy to hear that you enjoy visiting us, All the best, Marta

Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic
residences in London, sophisticated and upscale
Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine
dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll
worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a
leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque
and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and
the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw
