Astonished at just how bad this place is. Arrived with my two cousins and my mamu, found a quiet seat at the back, ordered our food. We waited and waited and waited some more, then the main course arrived (we hadn't even had our starters served) But wait a minute mr waiter , we ordered chicken Karahi but you bought... More

This place used to be once of our favourite place. though, they were slightly over priced but food used to be good so was their staff. But last year we went on my father's birthday and it was a shock. First of all when we entered nobody welcomed we just sat down and were waiting for someone to come so... More

I went to this restaurant last night with my family, we ordered chicken Karahi and chappli Kebab. My 8 years old son was eating the chappli Kebab and found a steel wire from him mouth whilst chewing. We showed them and all what they said "we will let our meat suppliers know" They didn't even have the courtesy to give... More

I went to this restaurant and was astonished with the level of filth, broken tables, wonky chairs, burnt kebabs and on top of this i ordered lamb karahi only to be given a karahi of bones and no lamb. Please dont waste your time and money. I ordered sheik keebabs and the waiteress didnt oven know they sold this. Furthermore... More

This was my first visit in Khyber Pass with my family. Absolutely wonderful and proper Peshawari food. Everything was absolutely tasty and the environment was really good. We enjoyed the environment and food. The best customer services and I would say you must try once.

Visited here recently with a friend. His friends had highly recommended this place as they come from the same region and thought the food here was very good and an accurate representation of the area. We ordered charsi tikka to start which was pricey at £9 for 1/4kg. 6 pieces of grilled chicken seasoned with salt. Then lamb karahi at... More

Positives: 1) Food was great, Charsi Tikka and Namak Mandi Karahi was good, the green tea had the aunthetic taste of dhaabas. 2) Ambience was good, there was a choice of table seating as well as traditional afghani/peshawari ground/phatta/takht seating with cushions. 3) Service was as promised, they claim to serve fresh food and not precooked food so they take... This place is amazing. I came in one Friday evening on my own. It was quite full and I was the only white person there. It was like stepping into a different country for an hour. I was served in a much more homely kind of way than I usually would be in a London restaurant. The waitress helped me... More

I am big fan of afghan food so I know what it is like. We passed this restaurant many times and decided we give it a go. We were welcomed by a polite Romanian waitress who was friendly and seemed to be taking on the job of three people. The "kawa" was good but that's where the music stopped and... More
