Been here a few times and seen it morph from an old pub with modern restaurant to very modern decor and refit throughout as it is today. Food is always good and I like the laid back service and atmosphere. Went with colleagues the other day after work and drinks were really reasonable and service very good. Even brought me... More

I'm from Manchester and I don't come to London often so I didn't have a clue what I was doing when I was down there this weekend. Long story short I ended up at Nelson. I started with grilled parma ham, then went on to a duck breast main and finished with a tiramisu. I find it hard to put... More

Just came from the Nelson. My first of many I suspect. I ordered steak with vegetables and peppercorn sauce... this is the first time not to pour the sauce over the steak. It was so perfectly cooked in did not want to spoil it.

This bar is tucked away behind Regents Place and Hampstead Road but well worth a visit for lunch and has become the favourite for our work celebration lunches (birthdays and people leaving). The staff go out of their way to be helpful and the food is varied and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal..

Excellent food and service. Great place to eat. Staff very friendly. Do not sit at table at back of restaurant as it leads to smoking area and door is opened every few minutes. This led to excessive foot traffic through restaurant and smell of smoke at our table.

I had dinner at the Nelson tonight. I had a filet steak with peppercorn sauce and chips. I will have to say that it was gorgeous.. The price was reasonable as well. I pay £20 ish for steak and chips. The restaurant was not very full tonight but it was a Monday evening after all in January.. Will defiantly visit... More

We were staying close to Regents Park on a sports tour and were looking for a nice quiet meal close to our hotel. Found this option on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a go. It is not well signed and we nearly walked by the restaurant. Good job we didn't. The bar was full of patrons mainly drinking and... More

Found this restaurant looking for somewhere to use our Tastecard and decided to try it. Don't be put off from the outside which makes it look like a small pub. Once through the door you realise how big it is. It's a wine bar/restaurant so when we went on a Friday evening it was very busy and quite noisy. The... More
