We enjoyed a 5 course Dinner & Bellini for £35 per head, as an offer through Opentable. The restaurant and surrounding were very grand, the service second to none, and the food delicious!

I booked an afternoon tea at Amaranto to take my mum there. I have to say it is a bit on the expensive side, but I thought it was totally worth every penny spent. The sandwiches were good, and the cakes (especially the chocolate & raspberry macaron and the pistachio & strawberry tartlet) and the scones were simply amazing! The... More

Amaranto is quite pricey but, for a special occasion, it is worth it! The ambiance and decor is really pleasing. It's quite quiet but I went with my 6 yr old and 2 yr old and I never felt pressured to keep them quiet. The service was fantastic and every request was take care of promptly with a smile. We... When we first arrived at the restaurant we were very impressed, the staff were friendly and the restaurant looked lovely. We all had very good starters and main courses but then things went downhill. A few of us ordered the cheesecake for dessert which was bland and soggy and the strawberries were covered in basil which just didn't work, probably... More

Visit to the V&A to catch the Alexandra McQueen exhibition WOW, then to lunch at the Four Seasons, last visit was 2011, Saturday is a brunch menu offering starters at £10/12, main courses at £14/18 and desserts at £4 set for a good value meal and now the bad news, restaurant and staff are Italian so Aperol spritz was the... I had very high hopes for Amaranto after reading the reviews and scanning the menu on line. It fulfilled a few but not all expectations. I went because I was in the mood for Linguine Vongole (clam) in white sauce, which was on the menu on line and in the print menu they gave me when I sat down. I... More

We had a fantastic night when we visited! The restaurant is beautifully set up and finely decorated. Service was prompt and professional, but friendly at the same time. The wine and starters were extremely tasty and just the right portion to get our dinner going. We both loved the polenta chips. For mains we both went for the fillet steak-med... More

Me and my girls went here for dinner in winter 2015, we chose set menu. Excellent price for 3 course dinner plus champagne ! We paid about £29 per head. Starters were amazing....main course not so much - it was a chicken with truffle sauce, maybe because we tried truffles for the first time, and i bet there are people... More

I went with a friend for a set menu deal for dinner. From atmosphere, seating arrangement, food knowledge and attention of the staff, I'm pleased to see quality in all aspects. What's more, they attended to my friend's dietary requirement and made appropriate accommodation.

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
