Best Indian meal for a long time. Ruhrel was especially attentive and recommended dishes which proved to be brilliant such as the King Fish curry.

Quite possibly the best Indian meal I have had in London! I travel a lot with work and eat solo in many restaurants, so have experience in a lot of different cuisines. Maruf and his team provide the perfect service and create a lovely atmosphere....They recommended the tasting menu to me which was absolutely sublime! I would also recommend the Hungarian dessert wine to accompany the pan-seared pear. Beautiful. This is definitely a restaurant I will be returning to!More

I went in solo, looking for a nice vegan meal, and was not disappointed. The maitre d' ushered me to a quiet table which I loved, instead of being conspicuously alone in the middle of the room. As a starter I had the samosas which...were delicious and beautifully presented. As a main course I enjoyed the chick pea curry with tomato, and lemon rice with cashews. Everything was delicious and service was impeccable. There was several other vegan options, so I would definitely go again. My only minor complaint would be the prices -- probably normal for London, but higher than I am accustomed to, living in Italy.More

We just had the best Indian cuisine we have ever eaten. We are from California and have never experienced such flavors! The service was excellent! Maruf and his staff made sure we had the best experience! We had the lamb, chicken and few starters -...all amazing! We will be back on our next trip to London - thanks Maruf and the staff at Light of India.More

We had a family dinner for four on our last night of a weeklong trip to London. The meal and service were the best we experienced during our trip. The food was amazing- the standout dish was the royal monkfish curry but everything we ordered...was great. The service was impeccable, Maruf was our waiter and the entire staff was welcoming and very attentive.More

Oh my word!!! This has to be the BEST Indian meal that we have ever had as a family We called in on the walk back to our Airbnb apartment in Kensington for a takeaway meal. The place looked devine, spotlessly clean and staff were...very attentive. My husband always orders Chicken Chat main meal but this was no average chicken chat - fresh and crisp with pomegranate seeds on the top. My Chicken saag was also superb……. Fresh and delightful. The premises has kerb appeal which is why we went in and we are so so glad that we did! I only wish this was our local Indian Restaurant in west Wales……. I wonder if they would deliver?!!! 🥰🥰🥰 This food was just AMAZING!!!More

The best Indian food we’ve had. Wonderful meal, great wine, great service. They were graceful and forgiving as we closed down the place until 11pm. Maruf was the MAN!
