Went here last Saturday and had the lunch special at £7.95 which is a starter, main and either rice or naan. Surprisingly you could choose any starter and any main rather than a small lunch special menu. Also surprisingly the portion sizes weren't slimmed down for the price..you got a normal size portion! Nice taste and exceptional value for money.... More

Heard alot about this restaurant but was all false! The waiters were very rude when we asked them to change the dish as we didnt order that dish.. they were about to fight us aswel. Not as we expected.. the meat came out raw.. not cooked well.. at the end we had to pay 75pounds for 2person.. was too expensive..... More

Had their two course special for lunch, a starter and a main course for £7.95. The food was all pretty good and certainly very good value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I would be happy to visit again.

We have enjoyed our dinner at Muhib: the staff were polite and overly instrusive, the dishes were tasty and filling, naan bread was amasing. The only downfall is that I felt heavy after this dinner for a day or so although had just one main with naan. I do advise to visit this place if you want tasty rich food... More

We (four ladies) we're looking for a good Indian restaurant from walking distance from our holiday apartment. We found this on TripAdvisor with high stars. They personel are very polite and happy that we came in. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the food was delicious. Especially the stuffed mushrooms and the Naan breads.

We got kind of lost in London City, wanting to eat something nice - and ended up in Muhib - after midnight! you could feel the personal had been working hard and wanted to close (it was late), but we have been treated nicely (maybe do not come that late :)) the food was amazing! a pity we could not... The volume of choice and salesman approaches from the Brick Lane restaurants can be overwhelming. I did do some pre-reading and this featured among the better ones to try. We were warmly greeted and looked after throughout. We chose a variety of dishes with the balti lamb saag the most enjoyable. Thanks for the vote if you found this review... More

Having looked at reviews for this place prior to my trip to London I was fairly determined to eat here. I almost bottled it as I passed the Eastern Eye Restaurant which was packed out but decided to stick with it. Initially I wondered if I'd made a mistake - not much of an attempt to explain a few dishes... More

I lived in Birmingham for years so know a good curry when I find one and Muhib's did not disappoint. But the highlight was the man outside who persuaded us to go in - his sales patter differentiated him from all the other promoters on Brick Lane and the food was as good as he claimed. Tender chicken tikka, fresh... More

Went with a group of friends having heard and read some good reports on the Muhib. We booked a table for a Saturday night through the Opentable website and when we arrived they had the table waiting for us. The food did not disappoint and along with the service everything was first rate. Price wise, it was no more expensive... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
