Whether you're dining in or looking for a takeaway - the food is of great quality, the menu selection is wide and appetising and reasonably priced! The staff are very friendly too - definitely my favourite Indian in West Hampstead!

I ordered takeaway this week. The food arrived late and when I when to eat the chicken curry, the chicken pieces were raw. When I phoned up asking for a refund, the guy on the other end was insulting. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anybody who values their health.

Not sure what some of the other reviewers are on about, but I ordered from this restaurant using hungryhouse and the food was pretty mediocre. The butter chicken was yellow and very sweet (it's supposed to be red/orange and tangy) and the sag paneer had 3-4 pieces of paneer and the taste was nothing special. the only redeeming feature is... Good for home delivery, not that great for dining in. The portions are generous compared to competitors and the quality of ingredients a little higher than the average for the class, so will return for ordering takeaway.

NB* This is a takeaway review This could be the best Indian food ever- except that they see fit to add the entirety of india's spice availability to each dish. My friend and I have had a takeaway from here most weekend for months. It is almost as unpredictable and surprising as the dilemma over who killed Lucy Beale. One... More

Have orders countless takeaways, I usually have the chicken rogan josh with a garlic naan. Delivery is always fast and I'm never disappointed with the food.

Have never eaten in here but have ordered a takeaway from here several times. Considering I do not go for an Indian often I do enjoy there food here. The staff are friendly, great service and not badly priced.

Opened in 2013, West Hampstead's Spice Tree has gone from strength to strength, dodging the fate of many London restaurants to become one of the most popular and well respected dining rooms in the area. Contemporary and comfortable, Spice Tree offers pleasant surroundings and a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere no doubt helped along by the staff - friendly, attentive and dedicated to providing each and every guest with their ideal dining experience, whether for business or pleasure. From the day it opened its doors for the very first time, Spice Tree has received high praise for its food, traditional Indian and Bangladeshi dishes done well using fresh, high quality ingredients and cooked to order. Indeed, it really isn't difficult to see why this restaurant has won numerous awards in local press. Traditional home cooking recipes are employed by Spice Tree's owner himself who is head chef and who prides himself on sticking to authenticity, eschewing unnecessary flourishes in favour of good, honest food, providing guests with an authentic taste of India and Bangladesh.
