Quaint Family Italian restaurant on two levels. We tried set menu £14.90 2 course, £18.90 3 course. Boiled tongue with pickle, marinated sun ripened Sanmarzano tomatoes. Stuffed rabbit medallions and Platter of meats and cheeses with Italian preserves. Chocolate cake and puff pastry layered with...More

Popped in for quick coffee whilst we waited for theatre to open. When we paid they tried to give me change from a £10, not the £20 I gave them, even though they had not put the money in the till. Seemed rather surprised when...More

Saturday lunchtime and we were the only couple eating downstairs. Dark downstairs. Service not particularly attentive, had to knock on kitchen door to ask for bill as no one came near. Food a disappointment, duck was pretty dry and had a tang to its taste....More

Food is amazing here. Good choice of traditional food with a twist. Staff is professional and polite. Only thing I could say they could improve they could give the customers a smile every now and again. Everything else really good.

Discovered by chance before a theatre visit. Meat platter and homemade soup were both excellent and good value for money

We were short on time before seeing a show. My son saw the waiters own lunch - a very tasty duck - on the serving board and being what he really wanted the waiter insisted we took it. Duck was excellent and great service.

Followed the great reviews into this place as it was a short walk to the Shaftesbury theatre. Not disappointed either... the mixed meat platter to start was excellent ( especially the cured pork) and the tagliatelle ragu (made with rabbit) was to die for.. So...More

Discovered this by chance - just before seeing Matilda - fresh home baked bread & home made pasta . Clearly made at time of order- fresh & delicious. Very good little find. They do set menus too but didn’t fancy any of the choices. Recommend
