Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful find near to Royal Albert Hall and a pre-show dinner that really started the evening well. Lovely Cirque du Soleil-associated cocktails and menu, beautifully created and served with great timing to allow us to get to the Albert Hall in time. The food was...imaginative and very tasty - the beetroot and goat cheese particularly fine, but all of us had a favourite dish from the 8 courses and we didn't need to rush to get to the show. Will definitely be back next time we go the RAH!!!More

Quiet small place which is lovely and quaint - service was nice but it was very overpriced for what you get . Pity because everything else is ok, much better food at half the price elsewhere, catering for tourists I guess!

Back to Publiq. after a year. The ownership has changed and the menu slightly different but the ambiance and the food still excellent. We were the last to leave and chatted with the staff who were so warm and friendly. Can’t wait to come back...again.More

High quality tasty food, with well thought out ingredient choices, and beautifully presented. It's more of a tapas type approach with small size dishes that are brought to you when they're ready. Our starters (‘snacks’) came after our mains (‘plates’), but this was no real...issue, although it might as well be described like that on the menu. Portions were really quite small so be prepared to eat your way through the whole menu and pay for the privilege. It ain't cheap, but it is good indeed. Exceptional cocktails, which were worth breaking the dry-January regime for.More

The croquettes were greasy, salads unbalanced in flavour. Pork fatty and gristly. Wine - Bulgarian very good! Overpriced and not worthy of rating. Wouldn’t recommend

Very nice British dishes to share We loved everything especially duck and cod We thought that staff was not very attentive, our reservation was missing, water arrived after food even though we asked twice for it. Considering the price, the experience was slightly below our...expectations (amazing work from the chefs side though, delicious :D)More

PROS: Extraordinary flavour combinations I'll be dreaming of the heirloom tomato salad for days Very veg-friendly Creative cocktails, well elevated above your usual G&T Interesting wine list CONS: Bread basket was 3 pieces of fairly dry, toasted bread for 6 gbp (do not recommend)

We were greeted immediately. From the first moment, the service was personable, warm and welcoming. The restaurant is compact, tastefully decorated, comfortable and welcoming. We sat at the bar, made quick friends with Jake , the barkeep. He has excellent food and drink recommendations. Everything...was top notch. Would visit again!More

Family of four at dinner at Publiq. While the size of the restaurant is quite modest, the menu is sizeable enough for all to find items they enjoy. Plates are meant to share, which worked well for our family to try and sample a fair...amount of the items on the menu. We enjoyed everything we ate for dinner - the mushrooms, steak, gnocchi, and croquettes were particularly good. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate tart. We didn't love the tart, but perhaps just personal taste.More

We had the best cocktails and small plates at this cozy little gem. The servers were excellent, so friendly and helpful in their recommendations. We had the pleasure of visiting with Kathleen, the GM, and she was lovely! We were visiting from the US and...found Publiq to be one of the best things about our trip to London. If you haven’t been, you are in for a delight. We sat on the cozy patio with heaters on a chilly night, and it was a perfect setting.More
