The food is amazing!!! A proper fine dine restaurant with amazing English breakfast. Everything was great except from the service as I found the staff a bit rude and was unwelcoming.

This was a pre theatre dinner that turned out to be way more than just convenient. The food on the set menu was perfectly cooked, delicious and beautifully presented. The wine list was extensive and having chosen a white and red from the Napa Valley...I was thrilled that when the bill came I had lucked out as it was”wine lovers Wednesday “ and they were 50% off. Lovey venue , great service , delicious food, fab wine and splendid flowers. Five big fat stars.More

We visited for a pre theatre cocktail on 17th March, great looking venue but we sat at the bar for 12 minutes with zero service. We then found a waiter and asked if we could order, he said yes, walked off, and didn’t return !...The manager may want to assess resources and consider the customer a little. We went to The Savoy instead, excellent.More

We had Sunday lunch for two today and it was very underwhelming. We had been looking forward to the treat whilst it started off well with the starters, the mains courses (black leg chicken and chateaubriand) were average. My wife’s chicken was hard to spot,...there simply wasn’t enough of it - very small leg portion, which to add further disappointment was also dry. The beef was better but the roast potatoes were soggy on the bottom from the cabbage juice and stale/hard in the rest suggesting they were made earlier in the day. When you consider the price £49 for two courses it was very over-priced for what we received. On top we were presented with two cheques, with the second one wrong as the price for Champagne more than listed on the drinks menu. We always want to offer the benefit of the doubt, businesses are struggling to find staff post-Brexit and the pandemic but the 15% service charge didn’t match up to the service, with the whole experience lacking warmth I don’t imagine we’ll be back. We walked out paying the guts of £200, which it certainly wasn’t worth, it was a rip off.More

I went with my mum to the Northall restaurant on Christmas Day and we had a fantastic time. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and there was a string quartet which added to the convivial atmosphere. The food was delicious - I had artichoke velouté,...game terrine, sea bass and then a selection of desserts and cheeses from the dessert bar which were all superb. We were too full for Christmas pudding but the staff kindly bought us two portions in a takeaway box! It is expensive but then you do expect to pay a premium on Christmas Day. The only downside was our sea bass came with the turkey dinner accompaniments (roast potatoes, brussel sprouts, cabbage etc). which didn't go very well with our fish. Given the price I would expect my main course to come with sides that complement the food. Also, although service overall was excellent it did take a little while for anyone to come and take our food orders initially. Overall though, a lovely day and a real treat!More

We went here as a traditional Xmas meal with my daughter, we attempt to do this every year a few weeks before Xmas We usually go to the Simpsons or the Savoy but Simpsons was closed and the Savoy Xmas meal was poorly designed (Not...traditional) . The Xmas meal was pretty poor the salmon starters to be fair were excellent but the meal was poor , potatoes were hard inside, Turkey was tasteless , accompaniments were sparse , Brussels, etc etc , No Xmas pudding. On a positive note service was good but when you spend £400 there are certain expectations.More

Very poor night at the Corinthia Bar. Very few people in and yet the bar staff seemed incapable of sighting customers waiting to place an order. The cocktail was mediocre at best and it took took two asks to determine whether my friend wanted his...whiskey straight up or otherwise. To cap it all, another member of staff dropped a tray of glasses. I’ll try somewhere else next time.More

The setting has always been one of understated luxury, tranquility and quality and it didn’t disappoint on this occasion. The choice was simple — Dover sole meunière with a selection of sides and it was classically excellent, perfectly cooked, just the right balance of flavours...with butter, capers and light seasoning. Thoroughly enjoyed food, service and whole experience.More

My husband and I had our first experience at The Northall last Sunday where we had Sunday lunch. The set lunch has plenty of options for a very fair price! We had some pre-drinks in the bar beforehand which had a lovely atmosphere before going...to the dining room. The service was attentive and we were looked after well. The food was delicious but our favourite part was desert where we chose the Crepe Suzette which was cooked in front of us at the table. It was really refreshing to see such classics still being served! We would def dine here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend :)More
